Our take on this /// Verdict
The Tata Zest XMA (Petrol) is a significant improvement over its predecessors, marking a turning point for Tata Motors in the compact sedan segment. While it may not excel in every aspect, it ticks many crucial boxes. The interior is well-appointed, with a comfortable and feature-rich cabin, including an infotainment system by Harman and a touchscreen display. The ride quality is commendable, especially at low speeds, and the steering is light and manageable. However, the exterior design is somewhat mediocre, and the cabin can feel dated compared to newer rivals. Despite these shortcomings, the Zest XMA offers a balanced package of comfort, performance, and value, making it a worthy consideration for those seeking a reliable and feature-packed compact sedan.
Price
The Tata Zest XMA (Petrol) is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price for this variant starts at around Rs. 7.30 lakh, though prices can vary slightly depending on the region and any additional features or trim levels. On-road prices, including taxes and other costs, can range from approximately Rs. 8.5 lakh to Rs. 9.5 lakh. This pricing makes the Zest XMA an attractive option for buyers looking for a feature-rich compact sedan without breaking the bank. However, its essential to check local dealerships for the most accurate and up-to-date pricing, as well as any available offers or discounts.

The Tata Zest XMA (Petrol) offers a mileage of around 17.57 kmpl, as per ARAI certification. This is relatively standard for a compact sedan in its class. One advice to all the people stop judging the car just because its TATA. It's got a proven engine that was used in Swift untill last year. Yes, I am talking abt the 90ps fiat engine. It's got the same manufacturer for the AMT that Maruti Celerio has. Best in class features. I have read lot of blogs including team bhp and checked with my friends for Zest's after sales service and I haven't seen any negative feedback. Servicing required @15000 km and is not that expensive approx 4-5k. They have got good colors but I would expect them to launch it in black. I would definitely recommend you to go for a Test Drive.
Best Features: Infotainment by Harman, high adjustable seats, good boot space, reverse sensor, climate control
Pros: An automatic car that comes with abs, ebd and airbags which is usually removed by other manufacturers to reduce price. Infotainment by Harman. Touchscreen
Cons: No dead pedal, Reverse camera not available by default. Design lacks a little more style if you compare with Ford Aspire
