What is the craziest modification you have seen on an Ariel Atom 3?
03 February 2025 10:43
Comfort would be key. I would make a custom seat with proper lumbar support, and heating. Then I would work on the suspension, making it so it can be adjusted to soften it for street use. It would be nice to have a basic infotainment system with navigation as well.
Is the Ariel Atom 3 worth the hype or is it just a go kart at overpriced?
03 February 2025 10:43
There are so many different things that I am not sure what you are expecting to see. If you want the ultimate track day weapon, don’t need to drive it every day, the Atom 3 is hard to beat. However, if you require any hint of practicality, look elsewhere.
How does the Ariel Atom 3 measure up to motorcycles in the driving experience?
03 February 2025 10:43
I’ve tracked them both, and the Atom is insanely fun, but it doesn’t quite give you the full motorcycle experience. The sensation of the lean angles and body positioning by a bike is something that the Atom can’t replicate.
The resale value of the Aston Martin DBX 707 compared to other Luxury SUVs?
03 February 2025 10:36
I think it will be average for its class. It has the luxury and performance, but it’s an SUV and generally SUV’s don’t hold value as well as sports cars.
What is the difference between Aston Martin DBX 707 and normal sports cars?
03 February 2025 10:36
If you need a comfortable ride for everyday commutes, the adaptive suspension will take care of that, but at the same time, I worry about the wear and tear on such a fancy car.
Is the Aston Martin DBX 707 all that it’s cracked up to be compared to its competitors?
03 February 2025 10:36
DBX 707 has a charm of its own. Speed is certainly important, but the experience is most important. It never feels like it's miles old, the inside is first rate, and it's particular every time you get in.
Is the DB12 a proper driver’s car or merely a pretty grand tourer?
03 February 2025 10:32
It’s a driver’s car, if you know what I mean. This isn’t a track weapon, look elsewhere if that’s what you want. It’s hard to beat for fast road driving though.
Is the DB12’s infotainment system merely a deal breaker or a game changer?
03 February 2025 10:32
The system is a good thing, but in reality, it will become obsolete in a couple of years. I just hope Aston have a plan for how they will support and keep the platform up to date.
So, is the DB12 as hyped up as it seems to be or is it just another overpriced Aston?
03 February 2025 10:32
Don’t let the DB12’s pretty face fool you. It's a true driver's car with the improvements to the chassis and updating to the suspension. After a century of trying, Aston has finally built an Aston that can compete with the best from Ferrari and Porsche.
Would it have been nice, had Aston Martin offered a manual gearbox option for the V12 Vantage?
03 February 2025 09:20
Yes, offering a manual gearbox for the V12 Vantage would have been a great addition for driving enthusiasts. A manual transmission enhances the driving experience by providing greater control and engagement. Aston Martin previously introduced a 7-speed manual gearbox in the V12 Vantage S, which was well-received by enthusiasts for its performance and nostalgic value.
What is the difference in the driving experience between the 4.3L and 4.7L engines in the V8 Vantage Roadster?
03 February 2025 09:09
The engine is only a part of it. Most of the 4.7L cars will also have other upgrades that make the entire package better. It is not just a bigger engine, but an evolution.
Can the V8 Vantage Roadster compete with its German rivals on a daily basis?
03 February 2025 09:09
Driving is everything. And it's reasonable to treat it like a normal car. Drive it the way it should be driven and your local gas station attendant will be your new best friend.
Is the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster worth the extra money over its coupe sibling?
03 February 2025 09:09
I’ve had both and I really love the Roadster more since it’s more versatile. You have two cars in one – top up for bad weather, top down for sunny days.
What makes the V8 Vantage different from its German rivals?
03 February 2025 08:54
The Vantage is for individuals who are not afraid to stand out. It's not about numbers.
Is a V8 Vantage a dream or a nightmare in the making?
03 February 2025 08:54
It’s a dream that you have got to sacrifice a little bit for. Not for the faint of heart or wallet.
The Aston Martin V8 Vantage is a pretty face, but is it also a true driver's car?
03 February 2025 08:54
It’s the difference between a tailored suit and off-the-rack clothing compared to a Porsche 911.
What’s the longevity of the DB9 Volante convertible top?
03 February 2025 08:31
The car is underappreciated in the way that it transforms from GT cruiser to sports car with a push of the sport button. It's like having two cars all in one.
As a true daily driver or weekend toy, the Aston Martin DB9 Volante is the question.
03 February 2025 08:31
For over a year I’ve driven my DB9 Volante daily and it has been surprisingly practical. Yes, fuel economy is not great, but the comfort and joy it provides during the mundane commute is worth it.
What’s the driving experience like in a modern sports car compared to the DB9 Volante?
03 February 2025 08:31
The biggest myth is that they are unreliable money pits. Regular maintenance and my DB9 has been rock solid. It’s not cheap, but it’s not the nightmare that some people make it out to be.
Is the driving experience of the DB9 Coupe worth the maintenance cost?
03 February 2025 08:28
The charm is in the fact that the maintenance costs are part of the equation. Buying a vintage watch is like that, it needs to be cared for and given attention, but that’s what makes it special.
