The value of luxury cars when resold is always a hot topic among car enthusiasts and prospective buyers. As an ultra high performance SUV, the Aston Martin DBX 707 is an interesting vehicle to consider when it comes to long term value retention. How does this hand itekracy compared to more established luxury SUV brands for depreciation? In other words, are there certain aspects of the DBX 707 that may influence its resale value differently than its competitors? This question is about the financial aspects of owning a DBX 707, such as brand reputation, performance, exclusivity, and market trends in the luxury SUV segment.

I believe the DBX 707 will retain its value better than most. This is their first SUV and Aston Martin has a very strong brand.

Luxury SUVs tend to depreciate quickly, and I don’t see the DBX 707 being an exception. It's too niche.

Its resale value might be helped by the exclusivity factor. That is not something you will see with every luxury SUV like you do with others.

Long term reliability, which if anything turns out to be an issue, can make resale a bit ugly. Aston Martin doesn’t have the best record there.

It could have been held on to because of the performance aspect. This SUV is not just a luxury vehicle, it is a high performance machine.

I think it will depreciate hard at first but then flatten out. In years to come, it may become a collector’s item.

The resale value will be very dependent on what Aston Martin does with future models. Earlier models would hold value better if they keep improving.

I think the DBX 707 would have a hard time with something like a Porsche Cayenne. Porsche has more history in the SUV segment.

That limited production numbers could be to its advantage. The luxury market is often aided by rarity when it comes to resale value.

I think it will be average for its class. It has the luxury and performance, but it’s an SUV and generally SUV’s don’t hold value as well as sports cars.
