Is the Royal Enfield Bullet 350X the hype?
07 January 2025 11:40
Absolutely worth it! The Bullet 350X is not just a bike, it’s an experience. There's nothing that compares to that classic thump and retro styling of any modern bike. Yeah, it isn't the fastest or most advanced, but that's not the point. It’s about how you feel pushing the bike, it’s about the journey.
How does the Bullet 350X fare for long distance touring when compared to other bikes in the same class?
07 January 2025 11:40
Short tours are okay, but for serious long distance riding there are so much better options. After a few hours, the vibrations get tiring, and the lack of wind protection on highways is a real pain. Plus, the small fuel tank means you will be stopping often.
Is modifying a Bullet 350X for better performance a way of ruining its classic charm?
07 January 2025 11:40
Moderate mods are fine I think. While the stock Bullet feels a little underpowered, some tweaks to improve performance can actually make the bike more fun to ride. Just don't go crazy with exhausts or gaudy accessories, though.
Does the Bullet 350X’s lower fuel efficiency than other 350cc bikes justify it’s riding experience?
07 January 2025 11:40
The Bullet experience is totally worth it with the lower fuel efficiency. There’s no price you can put on that classic thump and the feeling you get riding a legend. Transportation is not just that, it’s an emotion.
How reliable is the Bullet 350X compared to the older Bullets and current rivals?
07 January 2025 11:40
It's probably reliable enough for most users. Yes, it’s not bullet proof like some other brands, but if you’re cool with a little more attention and care, it’s not a problem. It makes up for with the riding experience.
Is the Bullet 350 ES a decent first bike for new riders?
07 January 2025 11:28
If learning to drive on a classic car, Starting with a Bullet is the equivalent. It’s cool but you could also miss out on learning how to use some of the modern features that make you a safer rider.
Is the Bullet 350 ES hype all about the 'thump'?
07 January 2025 11:28
I think the hype about thump is overrated, honestly. The new Bullet 350 ES sounds decent, it’s not the earth shattering roar people make it out to be. It’s better to concentrate on the bike’s overall performance and comfort.
How does the Bullet 350 ES fare as a long distance touring bike compared to the modern bikes?
07 January 2025 11:28
It depends; I think it depends on the kind of touring you’re doing. The Bullet makes for laid back rides through the countryside. However, if you’re trying to travel long distances quickly, you might quickly find you’re frustrated by its limitations.

07 January 2025 11:28

Is the Bullet 350's single seat really impractical for most riders?
07 January 2025 11:25
It might not be too practical, given the single seat, but that's half of the appeal. The Bullet was originally all about solo riding, and it forces you to embrace the solo riding experience. Other bikes for two up riding are available.
Has the new Bullet 350 lost its soul in the process of removing the kick starter?
07 January 2025 11:25
This is just progress, the removal of the kick starter. The Bullet is all about its design, its sound and the way it rides. For nostalgia's sake clinging to outdated technology doesn't make sense when the rest of the package is better now.
With so many modern alternatives, is the Bullet 350 worth buying?
07 January 2025 11:25
That all depends on what you’re looking for. If you want the latest tech and performance, you’re looking in the wrong place. If you want a bike with character and a strong community, and easy customisation, the Bullet is still hard to beat. It’s not just transportation, it’s a lifestyle.
So does a Bullet 350 still carry the same status symbol appeal?
07 January 2025 11:25
To be honest, I’m happy that the Bullet has lost some of its ‘status symbol’ reputation. That means it is bought more by genuine enthusiasts for the right reasons and not just to show off. The reality is determined by the adventures you have with it.
Is the new Bullet 350 J series a real Royal Enfield?
07 January 2025 11:25
I do believe it is a great evolution of the Bullet. It’s the same iconic looks and feel with it being opened up to more riders. Not everyone wants to constantly maintain and deal with vibrations that numb your hands. It's still the new one, it's just more refined.

Is the Royal Enfield Bullet 350X good for city commuting?
18 September 2023 16:21

It is not the absolute best choice for city commuting because it is designed more for comfortable cruising on highways and open roads. However, some riders enjoy using it in the city due to its classic style and comfortable riding position. If you prefer a cruiser-style motorcycle and don't mind its larger size, it can work for city riding. But if you're dealing with heavy traffic and lots of stop-and-go situations, you might find smaller and more nimble bikes better suited for city commuting. So, while it can handle city streets, it's most at home on open roads and highways where you can enjoy a relaxed ride.
