Force Trax Toofan Review
Overview
Overview
One of those vehicles is the Force Trax Toofan, and it obviously can. It’s a beast of a utility vehicle, capable of getting the job done hauling people, hauling stuff, or just being a beast at difficult terrain. In fact, I’ve always been a fan of cars that are built with a practical purpose, and the Toofan ticks a lot of those boxes. If you’re, like me, the kind of person who likes to drive without all the fancy extras, then this is the one for you.
Key Takeaways
- Powerful Engine: Under the hood sits Toofan’s turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel engine, kicking out 80.5 bhp and 230 Nm of torque, which is more than what a lot of vehicles in this class produce.
- Room for Everyone: Group travel is perfect for this vehicle. Seating up to 12 passengers, it could be used for business or just moving a bunch of people.
- Built for Tough Roads: Great for rough terrains, with the 210 mm ground clearance. This thing can take a beating and keep going.
- No Frills Safety: Reliable brakes and airbags are yours, but don’t count on any high-tech luxury features.
- Rural Love: Some people in rural areas love it for its practicality, but others wish it was more comfortable and featured in the luxurious sense of it.
Specifications and Performance of Engine
4 Cylinder Engine DI (turbocharged)
If the Force Trax Toofan sounds like something left in the garage since high school, that’s because it is. No subtlety here: just raw, pure power. That robust performance is delivered with a turbocharged 4-cylinder direct injection engine no matter where you’re driving. After having driven enough vehicles to have a pretty good idea of what to expect, all you really need from an engine is one that just works, and this one does.
Maximum Power and Torque
- Max Power: 80.5 bhp @ 3200 rpm
- Max Torque: 230 Nm @ 1800-2000 rpm
Designed for city stop and go as much as for off-road drive. It’s not going to be the fastest thing around, but it is plenty good enough to get you from point A to point B, no matter what the road has to offer.
Dimensions and Ground Clearance
Big, that’s one of the first things you notice about the Toofan—the 210 mm ground clearance really sticks out. Here’s how it breaks down:
Feature | Measurement |
---|---|
Length | 4,500 mm |
Width | 1,800 mm |
Height | 2,000 mm |
Ground Clearance | 210 mm |
It’s made to eat rough roads, and that high ground clearance means you can eat anything the dirt can dish out. You’re up high with the road beneath you. It’s one of those cars.
Exterior Styling and Features
It’s simple and functional, just the way I like things. No one is buying this vehicle on the basis of looks; it is for what it can do. With sturdy bumpers and roof rails, it's obvious this is a utility vehicle. It’s tough enough that it’s going to take a beating, and keep going.
Color Options Available
On top of that, you’ve got some decent color options. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re into White, Silver, Blue, or Red. The Silver is my favorite personally; it hides dirt well, and it's sleek.
Interior Comfort and Features
Seating Capacity
This concept has three seating capacities of two, seven, and twenty users, and each capacity varies according to arrangement. The Toofan can accommodate up to 11 passengers, plus the driver — and that’s a lot of people. It’s the vehicle you use when you need to move a bunch around. It’s not luxurious, but it does the trick. You have enough space between the seats to not feel like you're wedged together, and we all have a good, comfortable ride.
Dashboard and Instrument Cluster
It is a simple and functional dashboard—just like the rest of the vehicle. All is reachable, and the instrument cluster will provide you all the data you need without distracting you. I really like the fact that it’s no-nonsense.
Conveniences and Air Conditioning
The Toofan may lose some folks here—there’s no air conditioning. Now, it’s not the best thing, but it does come with power steering and some decent storage compartments, which are nice for long drives. You also get a breeze through the big windows, you can always roll them down if you need.
Driving Experience: How It Handles
Clutch and Pedal Operation
You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to drive the Toofan, but you need to get used to it. The clutch and pedal work well, except for a long shift from the gear. I found that:
- Those steep inclines are perfect in first gear.
- The drive’s a great deal more comfortable once you hit second gear.
- You don’t really want to push the thing too hard in first; it’s a slow, steady power.
Suspension and Braking System
All different types of terrain from paved city streets to bumpy backroads, the suspension is built to make it through anything. The back can feel some of the bigger bumps, but it handles most things pretty well, and I took it through some rough patches. The braking system is also solid, with a front disc and rear drum that provides good stopping power.
City, Highway, and Off-Road Performance
This thing handles a variety of situations well:
- City Driving: For its size, it’s surprisingly easy to maneuver.
- Highway: It won't break any speed demons, but acceleration is perfectly respectable, climbing to 60 km/h in some 22 seconds.
- Off-Road: It can go over rough terrain, but you will want to take care with its turning radius (about 7 meters).
Safety Features and Ratings
Parking Brakes and Braking System
A worthy braking system comes with ABS standard on all variants of the Toofan. Slot in some decent parking brakes, and the car can be parked on inclines. On tricky roads, I actually feel pretty secure driving this thing.
Build Quality and Safety Ratings
A big plus for me is the Toofan’s robust build. The two airbags for the driver and front passenger help make it tough. Even if this vehicle is more practical than anything else, it’s nice to know you’ve got a bit of security.
Utility and Practicality
Cargo Space and Storage Options
Though this isn’t just for people, it also has decent space for cargo. You’ve got:
- Enough room for 12 passengers.
- A large cargo area behind the seats for you or your luggage.
- Small items handy storage compartments.
Rural and Urban Use
The Toofan really shines in this. It’s terrific for both the urban and the rural areas. It’s all high ground clearance and tough build quality with no issue on rough roads and yet does fine with city driving.
User Reviews and Feedback
Positive Reviews
The Toofan is a pretty little number, and I’m not the only one who thinks so. Its performance, comfort, and value for money have attracted many users. It’s a workhorse and one that’ll breeze through long distances over challenging terrain.
Critical Reviews and Common Complaints
Naturally, not all is bad. There have been some gripes with mileage and interior build quality by some users. The interior looks basic, and it’s not the most fuel-efficient vehicle. However, if you’re buying the Toofan, you’re not really after fancy either.
Overall User Satisfaction
The Toofan has a 4.2 out of 5 rating and has been largely well-received. It's not complete, it's not perfect, but it's good enough to get the job done, which is exactly what 90% of the population really wants.
Feature | Rating (out of 5) |
---|---|
Comfort | 4.3 |
Performance | 4.2 |
Fuel Efficiency | 3.8 |
Design | 4.0 |
Conclusion: The Final Word on the Force Trax Toofan
If you’re looking for a vehicle that is meant to tackle tough situations and carry a lot of people, then the Force Trax Toofan is a solid pick. While it’s certainly far from luxurious or high-tech, it will do. Personally, I like the Toofan for its simplicity and functionality, a car you’re not going to be let down by when you need it most. If that’s something you require, then I would say go for it.

User Reviews for Force Trax
Excellent choice for a family trip
The Force Trax Cruiser is an excellent choice for a family trip. It's spacious interior accommodates up to 8 passengers with ease. Its powerful engine offers excellent performance and fuel economy. The car also comes with a host of advanced safety features that make it an ideal choice for a family. Whether you're going on a long road trip or just a weekend getaway, the Force Trax Cruiser is the perfect car for you.
Extremely disappointed with the mileage
We have been extremely disappointed with the mileage of our new Trax Cruiser. Even though it carries less passengers than our past models, it has been giving us only 9-10 kmpl, whereas our 2012 model Cruiser was giving us around 10 kmpl. The vehicle has already run over 12,000 kms and yet the mileage has not improved. We understand that long life and good mileage is essential for taxi owners like us, and so we are worried that if the problem does not get resolved after the next service, we may not be able to afford to keep this vehicle.
High Price
Some features must be added to this vehicle Eg. Rear AC, Steering Adjustment, Automatic Mirror Adjustment, and the Best Quality Material Body because the body destroys in some years.
Best Features: Power Window & Central Lock
Pros: AC
Cons: Rear AC
Force Toofan is best for industrial use.
Still, customer service is very poor.
Best Features: Toofan helped me increase my income.
Pros: Best for business development.
Cons: Handbrake is not that effective.
Force Trax Toofan Discussion
Is it possible to purchase and use this item as a private vehicle with a white license plate, or is this product only meant for commercial use with a yellow license plate?
The 2nd generation of the Force Trax Toofan is powered by a Gem engine, which has proven to be reliable and durable. It has clocked 10 lakh kilometers without major issues, making it one of the most dependable engines available today. Moreover, it is also fuel efficient, providing great mileage and making it an economical option. It is also powerful enough to provide ample torque and acceleration, allowing you to enjoy a smooth and comfortable ride.
Force Motors has been in the car market for years now and has made a name for itself as one of the leading manufacturers in the Indian market. However, the company has failed to make its mark in the premium segment, especially when it comes to SUVs. This could be because the company has been focusing on the utility and commercial segment, with vehicles like the Trax Toofan.
The Trax Toofan is a great vehicle for its intended purpose, with a powerful engine, plenty of storage and a very affordable price tag. However, it lacks some of the features and amenities that one would expect from a premium SUV. This is why Force Motors has yet to launch a real Indian BIG SUV like Caddilac. It may be due to their focus on the commercial segment and a lack of research and development in the premium segment.
It's worth noting that Force Motors has been making improvements in the quality of their vehicles, and there have been some great reviews about their cars. But, if they want to make a real mark in the premium segment, they need to invest more in research and development and come up with an SUV that can compete with the likes of Caddilac.
The new Force Toofan is a major upgrade over its predecessor. It comes with a range of improved features that make it a better option than its last-generation model. These features include a more powerful engine, increased fuel efficiency, and a host of other advanced features. Overall, the Force Toofan is a great option for those looking for a reliable car with the latest technology at an affordable price.
