The petrol variant is already in the market and the Diesel variant will be a unique offering for the budget oriented Indian market. It is expected to be launched at an ex-showroom price of INR 3,50,000. Datsun redi-GO Diesel is expected to feature a powerful 1461cc engine which generates a power of 64 bhp and gives out a torque of 160 Nm. It is expected to have a boot space of 222 litres and a ground clearance of 180 Nm. In this limited segment, Datsun redi-GO will compete with the likes of Tata Tiago, Alto K10 and Renault KWID. |
