Detailed Review by Maxabout Team

Overview

Yezdi, a bike company owned by classic legends, recently launched its adventure bike in India. The bike has been launched at a price of Rs 2.10 lakh (ex-showroom). Yezdi has returned to the market with the launch of three all-new bikes which include a roadster, a scrambler bike beside the adventure model. The Yezdi brand initially made its debut back in 1969 and since then from the 90s, the company's bikes ruled the Indian market with 2-stroke bikes.

Back then, the brand used to build classic-looking motorcycles and there are still a lot of addicts who have the original Yezdi models and don't want to sell their motorcycles, instead, they are maintaining them properly and using them in daily life. Now the brand has made a comeback and we have got to see three modern bikes which have impressed everyone a lot. All of the Yezdi motorcycles are based on the existing Jawa products but with an entirely different design and purpose to serve.

Yezdi Adventure 334 Design and Style

Starting with the design of the 2024 Yezdi Adventure, it is fitted with spherical LED headlights, LED DRLs and LED taillights. The bike has a raised handlebar and a long windscreen in front that gives it the look of a pure adventure bike. It features a 15.5-litre fuel tank, a large crash guard and a rear rack. In addition, the bike has split seats, LED turn indicators, an off-road footrest and a USB charging port. Overall, the new Yezdi Adventure has a familiar design and it resembles the Royal Enfield Himalayan a lot.

Yezdi Adventure 334 Engine and Gearbox

New Yezdi Adventure is powered by a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 334cc engine. The engine provides a maximum power of 30.3 HP at 8000 rpm and a top torque of 29.8 Nm at 6000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Adventure model produces the highest power and torque output in the 2024 Yezdi bike range.

Yezdi Adventure 334 Instrument Console

The bike has a fully digital instrument cluster with a feature of Bluetooth connectivity as standard. After connecting the smartphone to Bluetooth, features like turn-by-turn navigation and secondary display are available. The main console of the bike features a gear position indicator, multiple trip meters, mileage information, a speedometer, a tachometer, a fuel gauge and much other information.

Yezdi Adventure 334 Brakes, Suspension and Tyres

Yezdi has designed the adventure bike on a double-cradle frame to create the right synergy between weight, strength and price. The bike uses a telescopic fork with 200mm travel ahead and a monoshock suspension unit with 180mm travel at the back. The motorcycle offers a ground clearance of 220mm while its seat height is 815mm.

Coming to brakes, a disc brake of 320mm has been offered on the front wheel of the bike and 240mm on the rear wheel with dual-channel ABS. Three modes of ABS have been provided for various weather and road conditions including rain, road and off-road. Yezdi Adventure has a 21-inch spoke front rim with a 90/90 section tyre and a 17-inch spoke rear rim with a 130/80 section tyre in the rear. Block-pattern tyres have been installed for on and off-road use.

Yezdi Adventure 334 Price Range in India

New Yezdi Adventure motorcycle is available in India with a starting ex-showroom price tag of Rs 2.10 lakhs while the on-road price is Rs 2.42 lakh in Delhi, Rs 2.50 lakh in Mumbai, Rs 2.45 lakh in Kolkata and Rs 2.48 lakh in Chennai. The prices mentioned here are approximate and we suggest you contact your nearest Yezdi dealership to get the exact on-road price quote in your city.

Difference Between Ex-Showroom and On-Road Price

Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentages for the State Registration Charges.

Competitors of Yezdi Adventure 334

New Yezdi Adventure 334 is now equipped to take the fight on to the Royal Enfield Himalayan, BMW G310 GS, KTM Adventure 250, Benelli TRK 251, Bajaj Dominar 400, and the upcoming TVS Adventure 310.

Verdict - Should You Buy the Yezdi Adventure 334?

A variety of factory-made off-road accessories has been introduced along with Yezdi Adventure to facilitate off-road rides. Its off-road accessories package includes these devices: side panniers, top rack, box auxiliary lights and jerry cans. All in all, the Yezdi adventure seems to be a very capable product and the brand has priced it quite aggressively to compete with its direct rival - the Royal Enfield Himalayan 411. If you are looking for an adventure motorcycle and want to own something that is all-new and feature-loaded, then you can go ahead with the Yezdi Adventure.
