Saturday, 14 January 2023 11:32 AM The price hike for the Gixxer and Gixxer SF is in line with the trend of increasing prices for motorcycles in India. It is estimated that the prices of two-wheelers have increased by up to 8% on an average in the current financial year. The recent price hike is also in line with the increasing cost of production due to the rising input costs. The Gixxer and Gixxer SF compete with the Bajaj Pulsar 150, TVS Apache RTR 160, and Yamaha FZ-S in the Indian market.
Saturday, 14 January 2023 11:33 AM Suzuki Motorcycle India has started the year off on a strong note, with a 2 per cent growth in January 2021. The manufacturer sold 57,004 motorcycles and scooters in India, as compared to the 56,013 units in January 2020. The Access 125 and Gixxer 155 series have been instrumental in maintaining the company’s sales figures. However, exports have seen a drastic decrease, with a 19.38 per cent drop in January 2021. Suzuki managed to export 7865 units overseas last month, compared to the 9839 units exported in January 2020. This is indicative of the challenging times the automotive industry is going through, and the need for manufacturers to make sure their products are aligned with the changing market conditions.
