Latest Updates
Monday, 16 January 2023 12:35 AM As the semiconductor crisis continues to plague the automobile industry, the effects are being felt in the two-wheeler segment as well. Royal Enfield, the Chennai-based manufacturer, has recently announced the removal of the Tripper Navigation feature from the Meteor 350 and Himalayan. This move has come as a surprise to many, especially considering the fact that it was one of the standard features of these two models. The company has cited the semiconductor shortage as the primary reason behind this decision. The absence of this feature will be an inconvenience for riders, especially those who use it for navigating longer distances. This move will also result in a marginal increase in the prices of the Meteor 350 and Himalayan, as the feature was a part of the standard package. Royal Enfield has also said that they are actively working on restoring the feature as soon as possible, once the semiconductor crisis is alleviated.
