Ola Electric debuted its S1X line of electric scooters in India on August 15, 2023. The Ola S1X models have a modern, minimalist aesthetic that stays true to Ola's curved design aesthetic.

The company stated that a general discount of Rs 5,000 was given to all customers, with a higher discount of Rs 25,000 for a limited inventory. I believe this strategic pricing move helped Ola Electric boost its sales during the festive season.

Friday, 11 October 2024 12:00 PM Ola Electric launched a 72-hour sale offering significant discounts on its S1 scooters, with the S1 X 2kWh model priced as low as Rs 49,999. Additional perks included an 8-year or 80,000 km battery warranty, financing offers, a complimentary MoveOS+ software upgrade, and charging credits. I think this sale was a smart move to attract more buyers and expand Olas market share in the electric scooter segment.
