The Indian market has yet to find the Ninja 250. Regarding the BS6 update for the Ninja 300 and Ninja 400, we are still eager to hear from Kawasaki India. The Ninja 300 would get the improvements, but that was more than a year ago. There hasn't been any more advancement. Hopefully Kawasaki will learn from BMW Motorrad India and be able to significantly lower the Ninja 400's asking price.

The Kawasaki Ninja 250 has been priced competitively in various markets, including Malaysia where it starts from RM 23,071 (approximately Rs. 4.2 lakh). This pricing strategy is likely to attract a wide range of buyers, from beginners to experienced riders. I think the competitive pricing will help Kawasaki gain a stronger foothold in the Indian market if they adopt a similar strategy.

In terms of market speculation, there is a strong demand for the Kawasaki Ninja 250 in countries like Bangladesh and the Philippines, where it is positioned as a premium offering. If Kawasaki decides to launch this model in India with competitive pricing, it could potentially disrupt the market dominated by other sport bike brands. I believe that with the right pricing and marketing, the Ninja 250 could be a game-changer in the Indian motorcycle market.

In February 2023, Kawasaki released the new model of the Ninja 250 in Japan, featuring an all-new engine and chassis that are more powerful and significantly lighter. This update has generated excitement among bike enthusiasts, especially with its improved performance and sleek design. I believe this new model will be a hit in the Indian market as well, given its reputation for reliability and performance.

Kawasaki has equipped the new Ninja 250 with advanced features such as a large ø310 mm semi-floating petal front disc and a balanced actuation dual-piston caliper, making it one of the safest bikes in its class. This focus on safety and performance is a significant selling point, especially for riders who prioritize both aspects. I believe these features will be highly appreciated by Indian riders who often face challenging road conditions.

The Ninja 250 is powered by a 249cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine that provides a smooth and responsive ride, with a top speed of approximately 160 km/h. This combination of power and handling makes it an excellent choice for both city riding and weekend getaways. I think the engines efficiency and the bikes overall handling will make it a favorite among Indian riders.
