Latest Updates
Monday, 07 October 2024 09:01 AM Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 Receives New Engine and Frame The 2025 Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 has been updated with a larger 799cc liquid-cooled LC8c parallel-twin engine, replacing the previous 693cc single-cylinder engine. This new engine, also used in the KTM 790 Duke, produces 105 horsepower and 87 Nm of torque. The bike also features a new tubular chromium-molybdenum steel frame and an aluminum swingarm. I think this upgrade will significantly enhance the bikes performance and handling.
Monday, 07 October 2024 07:09 AM Advanced Technology and Safety Features The Svartpilen 801 comes equipped with advanced technology, including cornering ABS, cornering traction control, and three ride modes: Rain, Sport, and Road. An optional Dynamic mode with 10 levels of slip control and an Easy Shift up/down quickshifter are also available. These features should make the bike safer and more versatile for various riding conditions. I believe these additions will appeal to a wide range of riders.
Thursday, 03 October 2024 12:37 PM Design and Styling Updates The Svartpilen 801 retains its street-tracker look but with some notable design updates. It features a round LED headlight with angel eye DRL, angular tank extensions, and minimalistic panels. However, some critics feel the design is less distinct from its Vitpilen sibling compared to previous models. I think the design still captures the essence of Husqvarnas unique styling, even if its not as radical as before.
Wednesday, 02 October 2024 03:04 AM Market Availability and Pricing The 2025 Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 is set to be available starting in December 2024, although pricing has not yet been announced. Given its updates and features, it is expected to be a strong contender in the market. I believe the bike will attract a lot of interest from enthusiasts looking for a powerful and feature-rich motorcycle.
Wednesday, 02 October 2024 01:24 AM Suspension and Braking The Svartpilen 801 boasts WP Apex 43mm inverted forks and a WP Apex shock, both offering adjustable compression, rebound, and preload. The braking system includes Husqvarna-branded J.Juan components with dual 300mm discs at the front and a single 240mm disc at the rear. I think this setup will provide excellent handling and braking performance.
