Honda Grazia Deluxe Model
About
The Honda Grazia Deluxe is a feature-rich scooter designed to cater to the urban commuters needs. It is powered by a 124.9cc engine that produces 8.5hp at 6,500rpm and 10.54Nm of torque at 5,000rpm, mated to a CVT transmission. The scooter boasts several segment-first features, including an LED headlamp, a completely digital instrument cluster with a tachometer, and a handy seat-release button. The front glovebox with a 12v charging socket is a convenient addition, though it could benefit from being rubber-lined and lockable. The suspension is tuned for a slightly stiff ride, which makes it nimble in traffic but can be bouncy over rough roads. The combi braking system (CBS) and the front disc brake on the top variant enhance safety. Overall, the Grazia Deluxe offers a mix of performance, features, and reliability, making it a strong contender in the Indian scooter market.

Honda Grazia Deluxe Model: Pros & Cons
Pros
- All-Digital Instrument Console
- Vast Service Network
- Good Mileage
- Feature Rich
Cons
- Love It, Hate It Looks
Our take on this /// Verdict
The Honda Grazia Deluxe is a solid contender in the scooter segment, particularly for those seeking a blend of style, features, and performance. While it may not excel in raw power, its refinement and reliability are standout attributes. The scooter feels confident and stable, even at higher speeds, thanks to its dynamic setup and the virtues of its 12-inch front wheel and telescopic fork. However, the ride can feel a bit stiff, especially over potholed roads, though this improves with a pillion. The segment-first features like the LED headlamp and digital instrument cluster, including a tachometer, add to its appeal. Despite some minor quirks, such as the rubber band effect in the CVT transmission and the non-lockable cubbyhole, the Grazia Deluxe is a well-rounded option for urban commuters who value both convenience and a touch of premiumness.
Price
The Honda Grazia Deluxe is priced competitively in the Indian market. As of its launch, the ex-showroom price in Delhi was around Rs 62,505, while the on-road price came to approximately Rs 69,205. This places it slightly above its closest rival, the Suzuki Access 125 Disc, but the extra features and the maxi scooter-like design justify the premium. For instance, you get a front disc brake, combi braking system (CBS), and several convenience features like a 12v charging socket and a seat-release button. While the Activa 125 is marginally more expensive but lacks some of the Grazias fancy features, the Grazia Deluxe offers a compelling package for the price.
Latest Updates

Honda has officially discontinued the production of the Honda Grazia 125 scooter in India, effective July 2023. The decision was made due to lower demand and the launch of the new Honda Dio 125cc scooter, which is set to replace the Grazia in the market. This move marks the end of a six-year run for the Grazia. I believe this is a strategic move by Honda to consolidate their product lineup and focus on more popular models.

The Honda Grazia 125 BS6 saw a price hike in April 2022, with the standard variant priced at Rs 80,175 and the Deluxe trim at Rs 87,500. The Sports Edition was priced at Rs 88,500, all prices being ex-showroom Delhi. This price increase reflects the rising costs of production and raw materials. I think the price hike, although necessary, might affect the scooters appeal in a competitive market.

The BS6 version of the Honda Grazia introduced several new features, including a fully digital instrument cluster, an idling stop system, and a silent start with ACG. The scooter also got a sportier design with sharper LED headlamps and a redesigned tail lamp. These updates aimed to enhance both performance and fuel efficiency. I believe these features make the Grazia a compelling option for those looking for a stylish and efficient scooter.

The Honda Grazia 125 BS6 was launched with a starting price of Rs 78,389 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The scooter featured advanced technology such as eSP (enhanced smart power) and PGM-FI (programmed fuel injection), which improved performance and mileage. The design was also revamped with edgier body lines and split LED daytime running lights. I think the combination of technology and design made the Grazia a strong contender in the 125cc scooter segment.

The Honda Grazia was known for its aggressive styling and youthful appeal, positioning it as a more exciting alternative to the Activa 125. It came with features like a twin digital instrument cluster, external fuel filler, and an idling stop system. The scooter was popular among younger riders who valued its sporty look and efficient engine. I believe the Grazias unique design and features helped it stand out in a crowded market.
Mileage
Monday, 18 November 2024 09:32 PM
The mileage of the Honda Grazia Deluxe is a crucial factor for many Indian buyers, and it does not disappoint. With its 125cc single-cylinder engine tuned for efficiency, the Grazia Deluxe delivers a respectable mileage. In real-world conditions, you can expect around 45-50 kmpl in city riding and up to 55 kmpl on the highways, depending on your riding style and road conditions. The three-step eco speed indicator helps in optimizing fuel efficiency, making it a practical choice for daily commuting. While it may not be the most fuel-efficient scooter in its class, the Grazia Deluxe strikes a good balance between performance and economy.
