The Hero RNT, a unique diesel-powered motorcycle, is expected to be priced around Rs 80,000 in India when it launches. This bike features a 150cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, turbocharged diesel engine producing 13.5 BHP at 4000 rpm and 35 Nm of torque at 1600 rpm. Hero MotoCorp has envisioned the RNT as a versatile vehicle, often referred to as a two-wheeled tractor. It includes provisions for attaching ploughs and harvesters, making it useful for agricultural purposes. The bike also features cargo platforms at the front and rear, along with extendable pannier frames for storage. This practical design could make it very appealing to farmers and utility riders.

One of the standout features of the Hero RNT is its hybrid capability, where it can run on either diesel or electric power, or a combination of both. This is achieved through an electric motor mounted within the front wheel hub, allowing for two-wheel drive and zero exhaust emissions in city centers. This technology makes it an environmentally friendly option.
