Our take on this /// Verdict
The Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide, though the specific model mentioned is the CVO Road Glide and not the Electra Glide, is a powerhouse of a motorcycle that has undergone significant transformations to enhance its performance and handling. From my experience, this bike is a marvel of engineering, especially with the 2024 model. It boasts an 121 high-output motor that delivers a substantial increase in horsepower, making it a beast on the road. The bikes stability and control, even at high speeds, are impressive, thanks to the re-tuned Showa inverted front forks and the dual Brembo radial brake calipers. The addition of features like the Skyline interface, multiple ride modes, and lighter components such as the titanium exhaust and carbon fiber bits, make this bike a compelling choice for riders seeking both performance and comfort. However, its crucial to note that the specific model in question, the CVO Electra Glide, may not be directly referenced in the available sources, but the overall improvements and features seen in the CVO Road Glide can be inferred to reflect positively on the Electra Glide series as well.
Price
In India, the Harley-Davidson CVO models are typically priced at a premium due to their high-performance features and exclusive nature. For the CVO Road Glide, which is the closest model discussed, the ex-showroom price can range from around 45 lakhs to 50 lakhs, depending on the specific year and any customizations. The on-road price, including taxes, registration, and other costs, can easily exceed 55 lakhs to 60 lakhs. This pricing reflects the bikes advanced technology, powerful engine, and luxurious features, making it a significant investment for any motorcycle enthusiast. However, for the CVO Electra Glide specifically, prices might vary slightly, but it would generally fall within a similar range due to the similar high-end features and engineering.

The 2024 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide ST has been praised for its advanced technological features, including IMU-based traction control and cornering ABS. This model also incorporates lessons learned from Harley-Davidsons involvement in the King of the Baggers racing series. I think this integration of racing technology makes it a standout in the touring bike segment.

Harley-Davidson has introduced the Milwaukee-Eight 121 High Output V-Twin engine in the 2024 CVO Road Glide ST, which delivers 127 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. This engine is designed for optimal performance in real-world riding conditions and features a lower final drive ratio for exceptional acceleration.

The 2024 CVO Road Glide ST features a redesigned gas tank, wheels, and brakes to reduce weight, along with performance floorboards that are shorter and lighter. Despite weighing 800 pounds dry, the bikes reduced weight enhances its performance.

Harley-Davidsons 2024 CVO Road Glide ST includes multiple track modes, such as Track and Track-Plus, which are derived from the factory Screamin’ Eagle Road Glide King of the Baggers racebike. These modes offer a more aggressive throttle response, particularly useful for corner exits on the track.

The CVO Road Glide ST boasts fully adjustable 47mm inverted Showa forks and remote reservoir/fully adjustable rear shocks, which work well even at speeds outside the bikes design envelope. However, some fine-tuning may be needed to eliminate occasional wobble.

The CVO Road Glide ST has a base price of $42,999 and comes with a 2-year unlimited mileage warranty. The bike features a 12.3-inch TFT display for navigation and infotainment, along with a Rockford Fosgate Stage II audio system. I believe the premium price is justified by the advanced features and performance.

Harley-Davidsons decision to consolidate models means there will be no Specials for the 2024 lineup, and the ST models will be absorbed into the CVO range. This streamlines production and reduces model confusion, pushing buyers towards higher-margin models.
Friday, 19 January 2024 07:41 AM
The 2024 CVO Road Glide ST has been tested at a racetrack, showcasing its impressive acceleration and smooth ride. The bikes engine revs up to 5,900 rpm, and its performance is enhanced by the absence of variable valve timing, which was traded for a stronger top-end surge.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 11:51 PM
When it comes to mileage, the Harley-Davidson CVO models are not known for their fuel efficiency, given their powerful V-twin engines. In India, you can expect a mileage of around 8-12 kml, depending on the riding conditions and style. This is relatively low compared to other motorcycles, but it is a trade-off for the immense power and performance these bikes offer. Running costs will be higher due to the lower mileage and the need for premium fuel, but for those who prioritize performance and luxury, this is often a acceptable compromise.

Harley-Davidson CVO Electra Glide Discussion
its a new model
nice riding vehicle
it's very nice
what a stuning bike of harley davison
best cruiser bike in the world
I don't understand what is wrong with you people. This thing right
here is the ultimate luxury cruiser money can buy. It's sheer size and
presence is enough to make you faint. I have gone for a pillion ride on
this and I can say it is a million times more comfortable than my sofa!
And it is comfortable as hell. 400 km's of continuous riding and no back
or butt pain.
We only stopped for food and fuel otherwise we
could have easily ridden 24 hours without stopping. Riding into the
sunset surrounded by sands (we were in rajasthan at that time) with
AC/DC on the music system is the ultimate feeling. And why the hell are
you idiots comparing this to the busa? The busa is a hypersport bike
this is a tourer.
I don't even see a bit of similarity
between both. Speed is not the only thing that one should consider.
There are many other factors. You people think unless something is fast,
it isn't worth the money which is very immature. I have commented
before and still people just go on and on saying that the busa is better
or the R1 is better. Learn about bikes first and then speak.
I
am sure all those who are commenting have never ridden this or the busa
so you people have no right to comment. Sid: If you see this bike in
front of you, then you will know what is stylish and what is not! And I
do not in any manner say that the hayabusa is a bad bike, it is a legend
but it should not be compared to this as they belong to different
categories. It is like you are comparing apples and oranges!
It is definitely not worth buying this buy. If you've got that much
money to spend on metal on two wheels, then just help reduce poverty in
India. May be, pay for one poor kids education

what special in this bike. Buying of this bike is wastage of money. Phaltu bike hai! Isme itna hai kya jo iske liye itne paise de.instead of this buy hayabusa or yamaha vmax it looks so stylishhh.
Unbelievable bike, unique in its own.
Now why is this a waste of money???
The electra glide is the ultimate comfort cruiser..
Its got a music system, cruise control, heated seats and loads of stuff u will never see on other bikes (excluding the gold wing) and in fact its one of the most sold cruisers of the world and how can u compare this to an R1 or a Busa..
They serve different purposes but none of them can offer the riding experience that this Harley can.
Buying these bike is a wastage of money. Instead of these we can buy hayabusa or yzf r1 , which is better than these bikes?
What a crazy people buying this type of bike.
I am buying this bike because it is costly and my name is oboroy.
Wow... mind blowing... i didn't expected such a bike in this world..
It is definitely not worth buying this buy. If you've got that much money to spend on metal on two wheels, then just help reduce poverty in India. May be, pay for one poor kids education.
If anybody going to buy this bike.... i think he's mad.... he's out of mind...man if u spend that much money on bike....then u can buy Mercedes, Bmw, Audi or a Hummer.
It is unbeatable. I am going to buy this harley in this month.
