Wednesday, 16 October 2024 06:58 AM LiveWires latest model, the S2 Mulholland, has been gaining attention for its performance and design. This electric motorcycle boasts a 10.5 kWh battery, a city range of 121 miles, and a 0-60 mph time of just 3.3 seconds. The S2 Mulholland is part of LiveWires effort to expand its market leadership in the electric motorcycle segment. I think this model could be a game-changer for those looking for a powerful and stylish electric bike.
Wednesday, 21 August 2024 02:20 PM The LiveWire S2 Del Mar has been selected as the best EV bike of 2024 by MCNs annual motorcycle of the year award testing and review process. This recognition highlights LiveWires commitment to quality and innovation in electric motorcycles. I believe this award will help boost sales and credibility for LiveWire.
Monday, 01 July 2024 05:59 PM LiveWire reported a 35% increase in sales in Q2 2024, with 158 units sold, and a triple-digit year-over-year increase compared to 2023. Despite these gains, total sales for the first half of 2024 remain under 300 units. LiveWire aims to sell between 1,000 and 1,500 units in 2024. I think they still have a long way to go to meet their initial sales projections.
Saturday, 01 June 2024 11:06 AM LiveWire received an $89 million investment for Harley-Davidsons York, Pennsylvania factory, where LiveWire motorcycles are produced. This funding, part of the Inflation Reduction Act, will help in expanding domestic electric vehicle production and hiring 125 new employees. This investment is a significant boost for LiveWires production capabilities.
Wednesday, 01 May 2024 03:06 PM LiveWire announced the launch of its Summer Demo Days, allowing potential buyers to experience the thrill of riding an electric motorcycle. This initiative is part of LiveWires strategy to increase awareness and appeal of their electric bikes. I think hands-on experience will be crucial in converting interest into sales.
Thursday, 28 March 2024 09:51 AM LiveWire introduced the S2 Mulholland apparel collection, reflecting the style and design of their new motorcycle model. This move is part of their broader marketing strategy to engage with their audience beyond just the motorcycles. I believe this can help build a stronger brand identity.
Wednesday, 01 December 2021 08:02 AM In December 2021, Harley-Davidson announced it would spin off the LiveWire division as a separate company, LiveWire Group Inc., which went public in 2022. Harley-Davidson retains the majority stake in LiveWire. This move was part of Harley-Davidsons strategic shift under CEO Jochen Zeitz. I think this separation could allow LiveWire to focus more on electric vehicle innovation.
Sunday, 01 September 2019 07:34 AM The original LiveWire electric motorcycle, introduced in 2019, struggled to find buyers due to its nearly $30,000 price tag. Despite its 105 horsepower and positive reviews, sales were weak. This initial model was part of Harley-Davidsons More Roads strategy under former CEO Matt Levatich. I believe the pricing was a significant barrier to adoption.
Sunday, 01 June 2014 07:26 PM Harley-Davidson first introduced the Project LiveWire electric motorcycle in 2014 as part of its More Roads strategy. This was a bold move into the electric vehicle market, marking a significant departure from Harley-Davidsons traditional internal combustion engine motorcycles. I think it was a forward-thinking move, even if it took time to gain traction.

MAXABOUT RATING AND OVERVIEW
Vehicle Overview Harley Davidson Project Livewire would being the first ever electric motorcycle from the retro-modern cruiser brand. The motorcycle would carry an effective future friendly design and could help the brand establish itself in the slowly growing electric motorcycle market. It is said to be powered by an electric motor with 10 kWh capacity and claims 148 kmph of top speed. The electric drive-train is good for 74 BHP and 70 Nm of torque. As most other Harley Davidson motorcycles use smaller wheels, this street friendly concept will carry 18 inch front and 17 inch rear wheels. It currently has no rival in its segment while its overall mileage in one single full charge is still unknown.
