Harley-Davidson Street 750 Review
Infographic
Launched at the 2014 Auto Expo, Harley Davidson Street 750 was the first offering as a premium yet affordable cruiser from the company. The 749 cc engine is powerful enough to be targeted as a powerful cruiser and the retro design makes it look spectacular. The Harley Davidson Street 750 competes in the market with the likes of Kawasaki Z650 and Triumph Bonneville.
As per the engine specifications, the cruiser is powered by a 749 cc, Liquid-cooled, Revolution X™ V-Twin engine that is capable of producing a maximum power of 47bhp and an utmost torque of 59 NM @ 3750 rpm. The 2 cylinder engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and has a kerb weight of 233 kgs. With a ground clearance of 145 mm and a wheelbase of 1520 mm, the cruiser handles well at the corners as well as offers an excellent riding experience even on the city roads.
The Harley Davidson Street 750 gets a 292mm Single Disc brake at the front with a 2-piston Caliper and the rear gets a 260mm Single Disc brake with a 2-piston Caliper. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front while the rear tyre gets a twin shock.
The rounded headlamp and the teardrop shaped fuel tank compliments each other well while instrument console gets an analogue speedometer, digital trip meter and odometer with ABS light. The company claimed mileage of the cruiser is 23.3 kmpl while it covers 0-100 kmph in just 6.15 seconds.
The top speed of Harley Davidson Street 750 is 177 kmph. This affordable and stylish power cruiser is one of the best offerings of the company and is available in basic as well as stunning custom shades.

I am 6 feet tall, which one should I buy – Harley-Davidson Street 750 or KTM RC 390?
29 December 2022 06:06Both the bikes are excellent performers and define an affordable way of maintaining performance as well as the brand name. KTM RC390 is the most value for money performance bike of India as no other machine at just INR 2,14,000 would bring a 0-100 kmph sprint time of 5.7 seconds. It comes with a single cylinder 373.2 cc engine while on the other hand, no other Harley Davidson or similar capacity bike can be bought for INR 4,69,000. The 750 cc, twin cylinder motor produces 59 Nm of torque and sprints from 0-100 kmph in just 6.15 seconds. The 229 kg cruiser versus the 166 kg supersport machine is a tough decision but the only factor that can help you in choosing one is your budget and preferred riding style. I would suggest you to keep your Classic Chrome with you and then buy the RC390 as it would bring both the cruiser and supersport team to your garage.
