The chances of the Pulsar 135 LS coming back are very slim. I think this decision was likely due to market demand and regulatory changes.

Should You Buy It? Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS is certainly the only one of its kind in India. It packs performance and mileage in one perfect go, leaving everyone stunned with its impressive acceleration in city rides.
Vehicle Overview Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS is the most affordable and entry level Pulsar in the lineup, sharing its engine with the once selling XCD 135. The motorcycle is good for 13.3 BHP and 11.4 Nm of torque while weighs just 121 kg with fuel. Indian automobile market has no other bike within the same engine segment while it is sometimes compared with the entry level 150cc commuter bikes due to its power values. It is currently undergoing a 2017 year transformation and the current shade scheme is shared with all other DTS-i Pulsars in the lineup. The Nuclear Blue shade looks really attractive on the youngest Pulsar.

Bajaj Pulsar LS Review

09 Dec, 2015 05:04 AM

Quick Review by Maxabout Team

LS, as the term defines the Pulsar to be 'Light Sport'. The engine variant we have in this section would be a relatively smaller engine for a Pulsar, only 135cc. But the numbers are not everything every time is clearly shown by its performance. The 13.3 BHP output from this tiny cylinder makes the 135 LS a winner by birth.

The balance between economy and sport is fully justified in the LS series. The 135 cc Pulsar weights 121 kg only, with a little fuel tank measuring 8 litres in total. Even with an economical sized engine, the quick little Pulsar goes up to 110 kmph. It is returning a 60 kmpl overall figure and truly saying, a Pulsar with this figure would feel really different to the owner.

About Bajaj Pulsar Brand

Bajaj Autos had a totally new ideology about the Indian motorcycle market some 14 years ago and on 24 November 2001 it was seen in the form of a new lining of motorcycles called as Bajaj Pulsar. Being a scooter based brand, Bajaj had a very tough time switching over into a new segment where the already established firms were having a very good time with their little variety of offerings. Before Pulsar, the Indian market was bent toward small engine motorcycles with no performance expectations and high mileage. Pulsar, at that time changed the traditional biking philosophy and started a new era of speed and performance.

The same spirit has been carried over by the Pulsar from last 14 years and till date; Performance and Pulsars are side by side thoughts in every mind. At the time of introduction, Pulsar's featured all the modern equipment of that time. The disc brake was a proud possession of a Pulsar owner and its muscular appeal was a dream of every teenager. Riding a Pulsar at that time was nothing less than talking to the winds and the same feel can be experienced today also. Bajaj Autos has been updating the technology from time to time and the results are crystal clear.

Bajaj has started the Pulsar with an idea of an ideal Indian performance bike with a balance of economy and sport functionality. Today the ever expanding market has many more challenges and the specificity of every segment has forced the Pulsar to change its form from a basic performance oriented machine to a specific segment competitor. The Pulsar is offered in various engine options staring from 135 cc, then 150 cc, the 180 cc, 200 cc and the favourite of all, the 220 cc. Every engine has the same Pulsar DNA; the pledge to perform remains same whether it’s the oldest one or the youngest one.

Bajaj Autos understands the need of classification of their Pulsars in such a way that everyone finds a suitable on for himself, without going through each one before purchasing. The definition of each different Pulsar lies in its name. Bajaj has coined these terms based on the segment the Pulsar belongs to and also for the purpose of its birth.

Bajaj has classified its Pulsars in every way, making it easy for us to choose what we exactly wish for. From its classic appeal to the modern day technology, Bajaj has balanced everything with its segment differentiation. Go ahead, choose yours.

Is Bajaj Pulsar LS135 long lasting & durable for me in a hill-station (Mussoorie)?
02 January 2023 06:34
Pulsar 135 LS gets a powerful 135 cc engine producing 13.3 BHP. The maximum torque being produced by the same is 11.4 NM. The engine is good when riding single in Mussoorie but its low torque factor makes it feel weak while riding double on the motorcycle. The bike gets a light weight and sleek body design, making it advantageous on narrow roads and curves but on the other hand, its riding position is not as comfortable as other bikes in the segment. Considering Yamaha SZ-RR version 2.0, the engine produces 11.9 BHP and 12.8 NM of torque. This makes it good for double riding and the sitting position makes it more comfortable for longer rides. It gets an addition of INR 2500 to the INR 63,549 price tag of Pulsar LS135.
Someone told me that Bajaj Pulsar LS135 has engine problem + vibrations, should I buy this bike?
02 January 2023 06:31

Bajaj Pulsar 135LS is a good bike and the same can be credited for being the most powerful 135 cc bike on the streets. It has no basic engine problem and returns a good mileage when driven easy. It comes with a bit higher price tag, which makes me suggest you a much better bike on the offer. The Yamaha SZ-RR version 2.0 comes with only INR 2,500 more than the Pulsar LS135, making it a much better choice as a all rounder bike. It comes with a 149 cc engine, same as being used on the FZ, with slight de-tuning for better fuel efficiency. It comes with a refines engine, producing more torque than the Pulsar, making it more smooth option for everyday riding. It return a 45-50 kmpl fuel mileage and comes with a price tag of INR 66,064. It is definitely more refined, comfortable and a value for money product.
