Our take on this /// Verdict
The Bajaj Discover 135 DTS-i is a standout in its segment, offering a compelling blend of performance, style, and practicality. With its 134.21 cc, 4-stroke, natural air-cooled DTS-i (Twin Spark) engine, it delivers 13.10 PS of power at 8500 rpm, making it slightly more powerful than its contemporaries, including the original Hero Honda CBZ. My experience with this bike has been impressive, especially in terms of its pick-up and overall performance. The bikes design, with its all-black engine, suspension, and alloys, gives it a sleek and youthful look. However, its worth noting that the bike can be a bit vibratory at high speeds, but this is a minor trade-off for its robust performance. Overall, the Discover 135 DTS-i is a reliable and powerful motorcycle that is well-suited for both daily commuting and long drives.
Price
When the Bajaj Discover 135 DTS-i was available in the Indian market, its pricing was competitive and attractive. The ex-showroom price varied depending on the variant, but it generally ranged between 45,000 to 55,000. On-road prices, including taxes and other costs, would typically be around 50,000 to 65,000. Given its performance, features, and mileage, the Discover 135 DTS-i offered excellent value for money. The top-end variant, which came with electric start, disc brakes, and gas-filled Nitrox rear shock absorbers, was particularly appealing for those looking for a premium feel without a hefty price tag.

Using this bike since 2009 during my college 3rd year, My father purchased it for me in EMI. I have done nearly 2lac Km in this bike. 4 times changed the piston and bore head for better mileage. Still running strong. I don't like the new FI version of unreliable bikes, and don't want to change my bike, going to complete 14 years of driving. The sad thing is, I m not getting spares for the bike.
