Bajaj launched its new Discover 125M on 7th March, 2014. This new model is equipped with a single cylinder, 4-valve DTS-I engine with ExhausTECH technology which, produces a displacement of 124.6cc.
Maximum output power of 11.3bhp@8000rpm and torque of 10.80Nm@6000rpm is provided by the engine. Wet multi-plate type clutch offers smooth gear shifting during the ride. Semi-double cradle type chassis is used. Dimensions of new Discover 125M are 1986mmX678mmX1044mm and weight is 117 kilograms. It offers a ground clearance of 165mm and wheelbase is 1255mm.
Capacity of the fuel tank is 9.50 litres which offers an average fuel efficiency of 76kmpl in city and 55kmpl on highways. 35/35W headlamps are used which are powered by 12V supply. A gas charged nitrox monoshock suspension which ensures a comfortable ride and delivers a sporty handling.
The suspension system includes telescopic forks at front and dual gas-charged Nitrox shock absorbers with rectangular section swing arm at rear. The bike is also quite safe in terms of driving. It comes with self-start feature and is equipped with analogue fuel gauge and speedometer, pass light, low fuel indicator, low battery indicator and many such features.
Bajaj Discover 125M comes with a petal disc brake in the front which has more surface area than a regular disc brake and hence providing better brake cooling and less brake fade. Keeping in mind the safety of the rider it is equipped with a DC headlamp which overcomes the drawback of poorly lit roads by the AC headlamps.
Headlamp is directly connected to the battery which is only seen in the Discover family which ensures a full beam no matter what is the speed of the ride. It is available in the market in Blue, Red, Magenta, Green and Silver colors at a price of INR 48,000 for the drum brake version and INR 50,000 for the disc brake model.

The bike comes with a 124.6 cc engine producing 11.3 BHP and 10.8 NM of torque. It comes with excellent performance as it is lightweight and gets more power than others in the segment. The bike also houses an impressive design, making it one of the best Discovers sold till date by Bajaj.

The basic difference from the visuals make the M model look much more updated and attractive when compared to the other one. The bike comes with better graphics and much better fuel tank design. the other model seems a decade old in front of the Discover 125 M. The bike produces 11.30 BHP and 10.80 NM of torque from its 124.6 cc engine. It comes with a 200 mm disc rake for the front and an attractive alloy wheel design makes it worth the money spent on it. It comes with a 4-speed gearbox and proves to be an excellent city as well as highway ride.

Both the competitor bikes come with a semi faired design, which do not benefit the bikes as only the weight gets raised. The Discover produces 11.3 BHP and 10.80 NM of torque, making it better in acceleration and top speed due to its 118 kg of weight. The other clock at 126 kg, making them heavy and a bit slow in the race. Discover M comes with a 100 kmph top speed, whereas others have a 95 kmph top speed. Discover 125 M proves to be better on the money vale also as it is the most affordable one out of all the above bikes.

I bought Bajaj Discover 125ST in sep 2013. I get extremely good response from my bike.it gives feel of powerful racer bikes during riding, thanks for 4 valve twin spark engine.and also I get 70+ average many time. so I m very happy and enjoying my bike.and decide to use many years.
Best Features: 13 ps power delievered by engine.

My discover 125T, it is a good vehicle.
Without any bias, I rode this to Goa from Mandya. 673kms. Haven't faced any problems. And in the city another 200 kms. By using right engine oil,(Valvoline), till this day, no problem with this.
Best Features: For a long tour. It is smooth. No glitches.
Pros: Mileage. Look. Ease of maintenance.

Completed two years, 20000 KMs, went for long rides of 400 kms thrice. Happy for being the owner of this bike.
