| Vehicle Overview | Bajaj Discover 135 was discontinued a long time back. The motorcycle was one of many Discover models that were sold at its time. It was using a 134.21 cc, 1-cylinder engine that was good for 13 BHP and 11.88 Nm of torque. It was not much different from the current generation discover 125 but had its front indicators within its tank extensions. The motorcycle rivals Hero Glamour and Honda Shine in its segment. Bajaj Auto is the only manufacturer to continue a 135 cc bike in the current Indian market. |

29 January 2025 07:48An interesting idea, but I think flexible engine management has helped to make exact displacement less important. Nowadays, modern 125s can probably hit the old 135’s performance when you need it.

29 January 2025 07:48Huge missed opportunity. For good reason, people loved the 135. With a little clever marketing and updates, it could have been positioned as the thinking rider’s sport bike alternative to flashy, impractical sport bikes.

29 January 2025 07:48Definitely ahead of its time. Exactly what many riders are looking for today is focus on usable power and efficiency. Bajaj got the 'practical performance' concept down before it was cool.

29 January 2025 07:48An interesting idea, but I suspect the engine would have been the limiting factor. Low end grunt and durability that the 135 motor might not have been able to deliver is what adventure bikes need.

29 January 2025 07:48Nope, it's pretty good but labeling it a sleeper is a bit much. It would be left in the dust by any modern 150cc bike. For its time, it was good, but let’s not get carried away with all the nostalgia.

Using this bike since 2009 during my college 3rd year, My father purchased it for me in EMI. I have done nearly 2lac Km in this bike. 4 times changed the piston and bore head for better mileage. Still running strong. I don't like the new FI version of unreliable bikes, and don't want to change my bike, going to complete 14 years of driving. The sad thing is, I m not getting spares for the bike.
Excellent Service
The company should again provide the bike again for us. I think discover 135 is the best of all discover series. So, the company should again release this series again.
