Absolutely! The RC 490 is a game-changer. But that extra displacement makes a world of difference on the highway and track.
Against the Japanese, can the KTM RC 490 really compete?
16 January 2025 06:13
There's no way it won't have a killer quickshifter and TFT display that'll make the Japanese options look positively ancient.
How do taller riders fare on the KTM RC 125? Is it too cramped?
16 January 2025 06:03
I'm 6'2" and daily my RC 125. It was some getting used to, but I’ve got to say I love the level of connection I have to the bike now. It’s all about how you ride.
In a real-world riding condition, how does the KTM RC 125 fare against the Yamaha R15 V4?
16 January 2025 06:03
The brakes and suspension setup of the RC 125 are better. In corners it feels more planted and confidence inspiring. However, the R15 V4 is no slouch either and is better value for money.
The KTM RC 125 fuel efficiency—what's the deal? Is it really that bad, like people say?
16 January 2025 06:03
By avoiding sudden accelerations, keeping the RPMs low, and, by consequence, decreasing the amount of fuel consumed, I've been able to improve my mileage by about 10%. It requires some practice, but it can be done.
Is the KTM RC 125 good for a beginner rider?
16 January 2025 06:03
It depends on your goals. The RC 125 is a great introduction to sport bikes and something to grow into if you’re into sport bikes and want to move up to more powerful machines. However, if you are just commuting, there are probably better options.
When will KTM release a street-legal version of the RC 8C?
13 January 2025 06:15
And even if they did, the bike would be so watered down to fit regulations that it wouldn't have been the same bike. Better to keep it track-only.
What can the single-seat design of the KTM RC 8C do for the track performance?
13 January 2025 06:15
The great thing about it is that there’s none of that, because there’s no way you can be tempted to take a passenger on this thing. Keeps it pure and focused.
How does the KTM RC 8C measure up on track in the real world when compared to dedicated race bikes?
13 January 2025 06:15
The RC 8C is a beast, but outright performance is still ahead of dedicated race bikes. Basically, it’s like arriving to a gunfight with a really sharp knife.
Why does the RC 8C have a 65-hour service interval?
13 January 2025 06:15
I'd rather have a blown engine than frequent services. At least you know it’ll be in tiptop shape every time you hit the track.
Is the KTM RC 8C worth its weight in gold?
13 January 2025 06:15
