I’m a tall guy, and I actually like the compact feel. In the twisties it makes me feel more in control.

I tried it and gave up. And went for a bigger bike instead. We tall folk just aren't made for some bikes.

With some ergonomic mods, it’s doable. Stock, however, is a bit of a squeeze if you’re over 6 feet.

No, it’s perfect for daily use if you’re used to riding. It’s still manageable in traffic, but the power is there when you need it.

It's a bit much for stop-and-go traffic, honestly. Long commutes in the city hurt my wrists.

I think it would be overkill for everyday use. It's not exactly fuel efficient, and you're never going to use all that power on public roads.

It's all about self-control. It’s perfectly fine for daily rides, but if you can’t resist the urge to go full throttle all the time, it’s not for you.

I moved from a smaller bike, and even though it took some getting used to, I wouldn't go back. It’s versatile enough to meet all my needs.

Overrated gimmick. After a week, I turned mine off. There is nothing quite like a good old-fashioned manual shift.

The quickshifter on the 790 is okay, but not as smooth as some other bikes I’ve tried. At low RPMs it can be a bit clunky.

Upshifts I love it, but downshifting takes some getting used to with the auto blipper. I still like to use the clutch going down.

It took a software update to get mine working, but now it works flawlessly. It definitely improves the riding 'feel' of the bike.

I think it’s more useful on bigger bikes. It’s nice to have on the 790 but not essential.

Love it. Like a transformer about to pounce, it looks. The angular design is really a standout in a sea of boring naked bikes.
