How do taller riders fare on the KTM RC 125? Is it too cramped?
The KTM RC 125 looks good on me, but I’m a little skeptical about the fit. I’m 6’2” (188 cm) and not exactly short and have heard a lot of mixed things about how comfortable the RC 125 is for taller riders. I don’t want to feel cramped or have my knees up around my ears! I’d love to hear from other tall riders who’ve ridden this bike. How's the legroom? Are you hunched over the handlebar? Also, for longer rides (above an hour or so)—is it uncomfortable? I'm also curious if tall riders have made any changes to their comfort, for example, different handlebars and rear sets. Can it be used on someone of my height, or should I look to other options? I really love the style, but I don't want to end up with a bike that is uncomfortable for daily use. Feel free to share any tips you have or your experiences!

It is tight, though, but that's the price you pay for looking cool on a sport bike. If comfort is high on the agenda, you might want to look at naked bikes.

Up to about 6'0", I'd say it's manageable. After that, you’re really pushing it. Perhaps the RC 200 or 390 is a bit bigger frame you might want to consider?

If so, you can try working with some suspension preload to get you a bit of height. But it helps a little with legroom.

In corners it actually helps because you’re cramped. It feels like you’re wearing the bike, not sitting on it. Yeah, but long rides can be a pain.

I'm 6'2" and daily my RC 125. It was some getting used to, but I’ve got to say I love the level of connection I have to the bike now. It’s all about how you ride.

It's honestly not great for tall riders. For flickability, the compact size is great, but I think the Duke 125 might be better for an upright position.

It made a world of difference, and I installed adjustable rear sets. It gives you a little more legroom without ruining the sporty 'feel.'

But it's tight; that's part of the sport bike experience. I'm 6'0", and it's okay for short rides, but past an hour or so it's uncomfortable.

Forget it, mate. I'm 6'3" and test rode one. The bike was like riding a child's bike. So look for something that has a bigger frame.

I'm 6'1" and ride the RC 125. But it's not unbearable; it's snug. After a while you get used to the sporty position.
