Working as a mechanic, I can attest that the Unicorn is probably one of the easiest bikes to work on. It's built to last: simple design, quality parts.

Reliable? Yes. Exciting? Not so much. If I wanted more thrill, I switched to a Pulsar, but I miss the dependability of the Unicorn.

It’s all up to how you treat it. Take care of your unicorn, and your unicorn will take care of you. My car's gone to 120,000 km, and I still hear it purr.

Absolutely! The V4 of the VFR1200F is a masterpiece. It’s smooth, powerful, and has that wonderful V4 growl. The VFR legacy has a worthy successor.

It depends, I think, on what you’re looking for. Maybe not if you want raw, visceral excitement. But not for a refined, powerful sport touring experience? It's spot on.

Honda played it too safe, but it’s a great engine. I just wish they had given it a little more of that raw V4 character that we all love.

Absolutely underappreciated! But it's a great bike that was overwhelmed by more traditional sport tourers. No one knows what they are missing.

It’s a case of the bike not quite fitting into any category perfectly, I think. It’s not a pure sportbike, not a traditional tourer. That confused people.

Honda's marketing didn't do the VFR1200F any favors, but it's a gem. It should have been sold with its unique qualities pushed more.
