The Honda Unicorn 150 has become a motorcycle that's known to be very reliable, something it is praised for being able to run smoothly for years with almost no maintenance. According to many owners, the car is durable enough and can go on for more than 100,000 kilometers before any major issue. However, there are those that say that this reputation is exaggerated or based on old information. As new models and new players come into the game, is the old Unicorn still worthy of being called a legend? Long-term Unicorn owners, mechanics, and enthusiasts are questioned in this regard to see if the bike truly deserves its reputation of being reliable or if it is the nostalgia and brand loyalty that are causing people to misjudge.

Absolutely! I’ve had my Unicorn for over 10 years, and it’s still running like a dream. It needs just regular oil changes and basic maintenance.

It's sure, but let's not pretend it's invincible. In 5 years I've had to replace the clutch plates twice. Still love it though!

The Unicorn is built like a tank, the old one. He's used one for his daily commute for 15 years, and it's never let him down.

I think the people tend to exaggerate its reliability. Since day one, mine has had electrical issues. Maybe I just got a lemon?

Working as a mechanic, I can attest that the Unicorn is probably one of the easiest bikes to work on. It's built to last: simple design, quality parts.

Reliable? Yes. Exciting? Not so much. If I wanted more thrill, I switched to a Pulsar, but I miss the dependability of the Unicorn.

The older models were bulletproof. The newer ones? Not so much. Over the years, Honda’s quality has dipped.

It’s all up to how you treat it. Take care of your unicorn, and your unicorn will take care of you. My car's gone to 120,000 km, and I still hear it purr.
