Our take on this /// Verdict
The Toyota Innova Hycross VX is a compelling package that blends comfort, performance, and advanced features, making it a strong contender in the MPV segment. I was impressed by the excellent space management, with ample comfort in all three rows and a generous boot space. The hybrid powertrain is seamless and delivers impressive performance, especially in city driving where it achieves class-leading fuel efficiency. However, the interior plastic quality is a letdown, and the absence of certain features like rain-sensing wipers and ambient lighting is noticeable. Despite these minor drawbacks, the Innova Hycross VX offers a car-like driving experience, enhanced by its monocoque chassis, and is loaded with safety features including ADAS and multiple airbags. Overall, it is a solid choice for those seeking a versatile and comfortable family vehicle.
Price
The Toyota Innova Hycross VX 7STR Hybrid is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price for this variant is around Rs. 25.97 lakh. When you factor in the on-road costs, including taxes, registration, and insurance, the price can go up to approximately Rs. 30-32 lakh, depending on the state and local taxes. Given the array of features, the advanced hybrid powertrain, and the superior comfort it offers, the pricing is quite reasonable. It strikes a good balance between cost and the value it provides, making it an attractive option for those looking for a premium MPV.

Bookings for the top-spec variants of the Toyota Innova Hycross, including the ZX and ZX (O), have been reopened after a temporary pause due to high demand and long waiting periods. Toyota Innova Hycross ZX (O) Bookings Reopen; Price Hiked
Toyota has reopened bookings for the Innova Hycross ZX (O) variant, but with a price hike due to supply-related challenges. The brand had paused bookings for this range-topping variant in April 2023. I think this move reflects the ongoing demand and supply dynamics in the automotive market.

Mileage
Thursday, 21 November 2024 01:39 PM
The mileage of the Toyota Innova Hycross VX is one of its standout features, particularly in city driving. The hybrid powertrain delivers exceptional fuel efficiency, often rivaling that of smaller diesel cars. In urban conditions, you can expect a mileage of around 18-20 kml, which is impressive for a vehicle of its size and capacity. This makes it an economical choice for daily use, especially for families or those who frequently drive in city traffic.

If anyone is looking for a good value for money car and that to in a SUV
or MPV category I would say these two cars are the best option for
them. But if you need a good spacious car then you can go with Mahindra
Xylo Diesel 2012 and if you want great handling buy a bit less space
compared to Xylo than you can go for Toyota Innova Diesel 2012.
When new Toyota Innova 2013 model will be launched in India. I am planning to buy one, I believe it will be worth waiting for the new 2013 model.
