Our take on this /// Verdict
The Renault Fluence Diesel E4 is a significant improvement over its predecessors, addressing key issues that previously deterred buyers. The upgraded diesel engine, equipped with a new fuel-injection system and optimized variable-geometry turbocharger, has notably enhanced driveability. The car no longer suffers from severe turbo lag, and power builds up smoothly from around 1700 rpm. The addition of features like cruise control, rear parking sensors, Bluetooth telephony, and automatic headlights in the E4 trim makes it well-equipped to compete with other cars in its segment. The steering remains precise and weighted, and the ride quality is excellent, making it a comfortable choice for both city and highway driving. However, the clutch still feels a bit heavy, and the servicing costs, although manageable, could be a concern for some buyers. Overall, the Fluence E4 is a solid choice for those seeking a comfortable, feature-rich, and performance-oriented sedan.
Price
The Renault Fluence Diesel E4 was priced competitively in the Indian market, with an ex-showroom price in Delhi ranging from Rs. 15.19 lakh to Rs. 16.82 lakh. When considering on-road prices, you would need to add costs such as registration, insurance, and other local taxes, which could push the total cost to around Rs. 17.5 lakh to Rs. 19.5 lakh, depending on the state and local regulations. This pricing positions the Fluence E4 as a viable option in the mid-size sedan segment, offering a good balance of features, performance, and comfort.

Mileage

The Renault Fluence Diesel E4 offers respectable fuel efficiency, which is a crucial factor for many Indian buyers. With an average mileage of around 19-20 kmpl on highways and 15-16 kmpl in city driving, it is quite economical. Renault Fluence Diesel E4 Discussion

mast car yaar
As car critics say, the Renault Fluence comes in utmost sophistication with its overall shape that is smooth and flowing with sculpted sides that are very distinctive. It is a blend of ease and style with a touch of sporty look. It has nicely set touches of chrome on the lower side of the windows with rear parking sensors. Both the E2 and E4 versions of the Renault Fluence come with metallic paint finishes which gives it a bolder look. Renault Fluence comes with slightly pointed headlamps and a narrow grille at the front bumper with chrome backdrops on it. The front bumper is attached perfectly into the bonnet with a large Renault logo in chrome. Its bold letters adds appeal of the nose of the vehicle plus the super thin front grille is complimented by a wide air dam on the lower end of the bumper.
