USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Maruti Ritz VXi Automatic ABS is a solid choice for those seeking a blend of comfort, performance, and practicality. From my experience, the Ritz stands out for its smooth handling and effortless steering, making it a joy to drive in both city and highway conditions. However, the vehicle does exhibit some body roll at high speeds, which might be a concern for some drivers. The automatic transmission, while convenient, slightly compromises on mileage compared to the manual variant. Overall, the Ritz VXi Automatic ABS offers a well-rounded package with good mileage, comfortable ride, and decent performance, making it a viable option for those looking for a reliable hatchback.
Price
The Maruti Ritz VXi Automatic ABS, although discontinued, can still be valued based on its last recorded prices. Ex-showroom prices for this variant were around Rs. 6.34 lakh. On-road prices, including taxes and other costs, would have been approximately Rs. 7.5 lakh to Rs. 8 lakh, depending on the state and local taxes. While the car is no longer in production, these prices give an idea of its value in the used car market. If youre considering purchasing a used Ritz VXi Automatic ABS, expect to pay a fraction of the original price, likely in the range of Rs. 3 lakh to Rs. 5 lakh, depending on the cars condition and mileage.

I am riding Ritz since two years. It's a good car for small family of four members. The overall design is nice and different. Most of it, it's a fuel efficient car which is the prime need of every buyer. Initially, I got 12kmpl average through this car which later improved to 14kmpl. Yes, now it is constant at 14. I believe it depends upon the driving skills also that how well you treat your car. I always drive at moderate speed with less gear shifting. Ergonomically, its really amazing with good rolling of seats. The front seats are good enough to provide clear visibility of the road thanks to high driving position. The rear seats are also comfortable for long tours and it support lots of spaces for needy stuff. Overall, it provides smooth drive even with 5 on-board passengers. I must recommend this car to everyone.

Got to test drive new Ritz automatic today.. Positives: Good comfortable seating posture and excellent driving comfort. throttle response and braking are excellent..tall boy car with easy ingress & exgress.. Negatives: Available only in the Vxi trm...little smaller in the width and can accomodate only 4 adults (5 would be difficult); but no extra features -- no music system.. no seat height adjustment.. no electrically adjustable ORVM.. Lookwise, not at all good..both front and rear design not at all appealing; finally the on road price..hold your breath..Rs.7.2 Lacs ! without any accessories.. Maruti needs to seriously relook the price as well as the looks.. Looks like the old Ritz was better in looks.
