It gets the 2.0‑litre mStallion turbo‑petrol with 200 bhp and 380 Nm, paired to a smooth 6‑speed torque‑converter automatic, so performance and refinement are strong for city and highway use. The AX7L layer adds 19‑inch alloys, multi‑zone ambient lighting, second‑row ventilation, rear sunblinds, powered co‑driver “Boss” seat and a rear wireless charger over AX7T, making this the most pampering variant in the range. On top of that, you get Level 2 ADAS, 540‑degree camera, seven airbags and a five‑star Bharat NCAP rating for the 7XO line, which gives me confidence about safety and long‑distance usability. The downsides are a thirsty petrol motor in traffic and a near‑₹30 lakh on‑road hit in big cities, so this is not a budget choice. Within the 7XO line, AX7L sits right at the top of the petrol ladder, above AX7T AT (₹21.97 lakh ex‑showroom) and AX7 AT (₹19.93 lakh), so you pay roughly ₹1.5–3.5 lakh more than the mid‑high trims for the extra luxury kit.
