It features a modern and spacious cabin with ample head and shoulder room, making it one of the roomiest sedans in its segment. Additional features like a sunroof, smart key with keyless entry, cruise control, and an all-digital instrument cluster enhance the driving experience. USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Honda City Edge Edition Diesel is a compelling choice for those seeking a blend of comfort, performance, and fuel efficiency. From my experience, this sedan excels in its segment with its refined 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine, which offers a smooth and linear power delivery. The engine, producing 98bhp and 200Nm of torque, is well-suited for both city commutes and long highway drives. The six-speed manual gearbox is a joy to use, with short throws and a light clutch. The City also stands out for its spacious and feature-rich cabin, excellent head and shoulder room, and a comfortable ride quality that absorbs road irregularities well. However, the diesel engine can get noisy past 2000rpm, and the steering could benefit from more feedback. Overall, it remains a strong contender in its class, offering a great balance of performance, comfort, and practicality.
Price
The Honda City Edge Edition Diesel is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price for this variant typically ranges between 14.5 lakh to 16.5 lakh, depending on the region and any local taxes. On-road prices, including registration, insurance, and other costs, can range from 17 lakh to 20 lakh. This pricing makes it an attractive option when considering the features, performance, and reliability it offers. The additional features and the premium feel of the City justify the slight premium over its competitors, making it a good value for money.

Kulraj singh | 6 years ago
helpful 4

Honda city diesel version is worst car in this segment . Always create problems and too much noisy cabin . Car's finishing is not up to the standard. I have bought this car in Feb. 2015 .

Best Features: AC Control panel

Pros: Style is good but finishing is very bad

Cons: Noisy cabin, horns are cheap quality not working properly
