About
The Ford Figo EXi is one of the more spacious and comfortable options in the B-segment hatchback category in India. It boasts a longer wheelbase and overall length compared to its competitors like the Swift, providing ample interior space and a generous boot area. The car features a smooth gear shifter, comfortable seating, and a well-tuned suspension that offers a mature ride quality suitable for Indian roads. The EXi variant comes with essential features such as central locking, digital odometer, air conditioner, and Bluetooth connectivity, making it a well-rounded package. The engine, while not the most powerful, is smooth and efficient, and the steering is precise and responsive, especially at high speeds. Overall, the Figo EXi is a practical and enjoyable car that balances comfort, performance, and value for money.

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Ford Figo EXi is a solid choice in the B-segment hatchback market in India, offering a blend of comfort, practicality, and driving dynamics. While it may not be the most powerful engine in its class, the Figo compensates with its exceptional handling and stability, making it a joy to drive, especially on Indian roads. The interior, though not as premium as some of its competitors, is spacious and comfortable, with good legroom and a large boot space. Features like Bluetooth connectivity, a effective AC, and a user-friendly instrument panel add to its appeal. However, the lack of certain modern features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and limited rear headroom for taller passengers, are notable drawbacks. Overall, the Figo EXi is a great value for money, especially considering its price and the overall driving experience it offers.
Price
The Ford Figo EXi, when it was available, was priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price for the Figo EXi variant would typically be around Rs 5.5 to Rs 6.5 lakh, depending on the location and any local taxes. On-road prices, including registration, insurance, and other costs, could range from Rs 6.5 to Rs 7.5 lakh. This pricing makes the Figo EXi an attractive option for those looking for a reliable and feature-packed hatchback without breaking the bank. However, prices may vary based on the state and city, so its always a good idea to check with local dealers for the most accurate pricing.
Latest Updates
Monday, 11 November 2024 02:37 PM
Ford has announced that it will stop production of its locally sold models, including the Ford Figo, though the current lineup will be on sale till stocks last. The company will continue to offer support to existing Ford car owners for the next 10 years. I think this is a significant move, and owners should be relieved about the continued support.
Friday, 15 March 2019 06:49 AM
The 2019 Ford Figo facelift was launched in India on March 15, 2019, with a starting price of Rs 5.15 lakh. This update included new petrol engines, cosmetic changes, and additional features like rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlamps. I believe these updates made the Figo a strong contender in the hatchback segment.

Ford introduced the Figo AT variant in India, priced between Rs 7.75 lakhs and Rs 8.20 lakhs (ex-showroom). The automatic transmission was available only in the Titanium variant. I think this addition made the Figo more appealing to those looking for convenience without compromising on performance.

The Ford Figo received a significant facelift in 2016, which included a refreshed exterior design inspired by Aston Martin, along with updated safety features such as up to six airbags in the top-spec Titanium Blu variant. I believe this update enhanced the cars appeal with both its design and safety features.
Monday, 01 March 2010 04:05 PM
When the Ford Figo was first launched in 2010, it was priced competitively between Rs 3.49 lakh and Rs 5.29 lakh, making it a viable option in the small car segment. The car was praised for its handling and reliable engines. I think Fords strategy to source 85% of parts locally was a smart move that helped in pricing.
Mileage
Thursday, 21 November 2024 09:58 PM
The Ford Figo EXi, particularly the petrol variant, offers a respectable mileage. With a claimed fuel economy of around 25.5 kmpl, it is quite efficient for daily commuting and long drives. In real-world conditions, you can expect a mileage of around 20-22 kmpl, which is commendable given the cars performance and comfort. This makes the Figo EXi a good choice for those concerned about running costs and fuel efficiency.

Ford Figo EXi Discussion
not good looking but easy to drive
Why don't big people don't undertand what a lay man needs? Great claims on maintenance and big price. Does that make sense? Would any one have spent that amount in ones entirelife for fuel? C'mon, it time to bring down the prices. Why? Only rich people/middle class people can manage to buy these that too most of them use financing options. Ridiculous isn't it. I understand the design deserves a million but it will not be appreciated by a million unless the price can be coined by a million.
Tata nano super. But prize so much. I accept that just one lakh.
The diesel moter sends vibration to the drivers co driver seat ,,not a good thing for such a prize tag car.....
Spacious car. Very comfortable for tall people as well.
