Yamaha has slashed prices of the two completely built units (CBU) motorcycles in its range. The price cut for the MT-09 and the YZF-R1 is in the range of 12 per cent of the original sticker price. With the price cut, the MT-09 will now set you back by Rs 9.5 lakhs while the YZF-R1 retails at Rs 18.16 lakhs (both ex-showroom). Like other manufacturers, Yamaha is passing on the benefits directly to the customer.

Financing options for the 2025 Yamaha motorcycles, including the YZF-R1, are available through the Yamaha Credit Card, offering promotional APR rates and minimum payments until the purchase is paid in full. This could make the new R1 more accessible to a wider range of buyers. I believe this financing option will be a big help for those looking to upgrade to the latest model.
