Yamaha X-Max and Yamaha Majesty have no launch plans for the Indian market. Both the power scooters comes with an impressive styling and various number of features for ease in driving. The 125 cc motors of the scooters are very refined units and there no launch plan is a disappointing step in the upcoming power scooter section. The Hero ZIR and Honda PCX are both 150 cc scooters, rivaling each other in the upcoming Indian scooter launches. Both the bikes come with brilliant design and a totally different approach than all the existing scooters in India. both will launch by the end of this year and most probably the launch will be in the festive season. the expected prices for the Honda PCX and Hero ZIR is INR 90,000 and INR 85,000 respectively.
Which scooter will be launched first - Honda PCX 125/PCX 150 or Hero ZIR 150 or Yamaha Majesty 125?

These scooters are from the premium scooter segment and the launch of Hero ZIR 150 would be the first launch out of all these. It was showcased at the Auto Expo and the scooter was production ready. Hero will launch the scooter in this year only in the third quarter and the features of the scooter includes dual headlight for the front and the disc brake option for enhanced safety.

Yamaha India has no plans for the launch of its majesty 125 scooter in India. The Majesty is a premium scooter with 125 cc liquid cooled engine which produces 11.8 BHP. With a ground clearance of 93 mm only, it would not suit the Indian roads without certain tuning.

The bike is not yet available and at the same time and the company has no plans to launch it in India. It comes powered with 125 cc single cylinder liquid-cooled 4 stroke SOHC 4 valves. It also gives a maximum power of 11.8 bhp at 7500rpm and a torque of 11.6 Nm at 7000rpm. The engine comes equipped with V-Belt automatic gearbox. The suspension system includes telescopic fork at the front and Swingarm at its rear. It will be available in shades like Black, White, Grey.

Commuters are now preferring scooter for its comfort in driving & multi utility options. At present scooter have the age old style and pattern. There are f commuters alike me who expect a scooter with big wheels, good mileage & obviously should be cool in style. We still are brand conscious (like honda, hero , yamaha ,TVS , Mahindra still need to work hard to penetrate the scooter/bike segment ).. New vehicles as Yamaha Majesty , Honda PCX, Yamaha X-Max fit with my requirement .. let see when they are releasing these birds.
