Which scooter is the best, the Fascino 125, NTORQ 125, or Jupiter 125?
13 September 2023 09:02All three scooters are good in their own forte. The Fascino 125 Hybrid is now a well-rounded family-oriented product with some serious poke. It's smarter, quicker, livelier, easier to ride in city traffic, and not to mention, more fuel-efficient! When you factor in the small premium you have to pay over the earlier BS6 model, the Fascino Hybrid makes a lot of sense. Whereas, If you're looking for a fast, fun-to-ride, and feature-rich scooter, the TVS Ntorq 125 is the right choice for you. Our only grouse is the premium pricing post the BS6 update. On the other hand, Jupiter 125 has a top-notch fit and finish levels, External fuel filler on the front apron is extremely convenient, Massive 33 liters of under-seat storage can hold a lot of stuff. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test ride before making the final decision

Which one is better - Honda Activa 3G, TVS Jupiter or Yamaha Fascino?
29 December 2022 05:48TVS Jupiter is the best scooter out of the above three options. People consider the Activa 3G as the best scooter but the TVS Jupiter has gone above the negative points of the Activa 3G and made a perfect scooter at its price range. The engine delivers 7.8 BHP, which sounds less than the Activa on paper, but on road, the minor difference is not even felt by an average rider. The Jupiter provides the rider with 12 inch rim size with alloy wheels which is far better than the Activa's 10 inch steel rims. Also, it comes with front telescopic suspension, making it more comfortable on non ideal roads. Even after having these features, the Jupiter comes with a price tag of INR 46,925 which is far better than the INR 50,000 tag of Activa.

User Reviews for Yamaha Fascino
Long distance mileage is quite good
I'm really impressed with the Yamaha Fascino. It looks great and the performance of the engine is sturdy, reliable and smooth. It reaches top speeds of 100 km/h without any uncomfortable vibrations, which is really nice. It has decent mileage of around 50 km/l, which is good enough for a daily commute. The seats are comfortable and the lack of digital cluster and modern bike features is something you might miss, but overall it's a great bike. The headlight could be better, but other than that, it's a great bike for your daily use. Long distance mileage is also quite good at around 60 km/l, which is a major plus point. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the Yamaha Fascino.
Powerful engine and punching torque
The Yamaha Fascino 125 is an amazing bike which provides a great ride and an excellent performance. Its powerful engine and punching torque offers an efficient pickup that can maneuver through city traffic with ease. It also has a great road presence that turns the heads of onlookers. The good mileage of 40+ kmpl is an added benefit that makes it a great choice. Furthermore, I wish to appreciate the Yamaha service staff for their courtesy and helpfulness. My father experienced it when he took the bike for servicing and he ran out of fuel. They were quick to help him out.
All in all, the Yamaha Fascino 125 is a great choice for those looking for a reliable, powerful and efficient bike.
Having issues with acceleration and the clutch is damaged
Despite its good shock absorbers and attractive looks, my Yamaha Fascino 125 has been nothing but a disappointment since I bought it in 2017. After only 6 months of use, I started to experience pick-up problems. Later, I began to hear strange noises from the engine, and I had to replace parts within a year or two of buying. I also noticed that the engine revs too much when I’m waiting with the engine on, and I have to take my hands off the handle. Now, I’m having issues with acceleration and the clutch is damaged. I wish I had known better before I bought this bike and regret the bad decision I made!
Service offered by Yamaha was substandard
After purchasing the Yamaha Fascino 125, I soon realized that the service offered by Yamaha was substandard. They did not have the necessary spare parts and the customer service representatives had no helpful advice to offer. Even after the vehicle was damaged, the company refused to provide repairs or parts. The service center staff were also extremely rude and had a very condescending attitude. All in all, the experience with Yamaha was very unpleasant and I would urge others to stay away from it.
Simple to ride and handle
My buying experience with the Yamaha Fascino 125 was good. The ride is comfortable and the wheel is of 2020 BS6, which has no say in style or features. However, the bike does come with a side stand cut-off and an automatic ignition, which is really convenient. The efficiency is below my expectations, as it only gives around 40-45 km/l. However, the performance is good for city rides, but not for long rides or highways. The service cost is affordable, but the service experience is not great as they tend to blame you for the problem and make you pay to replace the faulty parts.
The pros of this scooty are that it is simple to ride and handle. The cons are that it does not have many electrical features.
