Kawasaki recently updated its portfolio by launching the 2023 edition of its fully-faired motorcycle, the Ninja 300. As is usually the case with most Kawasaki updates, the only change the Ninja 300 has received is three new colour options. Nevertheless, these paint schemes are jazzy and bring along a breath of fresh air. The new colour options for the Ninja 300 are called Lime Green, Candy Lime Green, and Metallic Moondust Grey.

Kawasaki has launched the 2024 Ninja 300 in India, priced at Rs 3.43 lakh (ex-showroom). The new model features visual updates, including new colour schemes such as Candy Lime Green and Metallic Moondust Grey, along with new graphics for the Lime Green paint scheme. Mechanically, the bike remains unchanged. I think the new colours are a nice touch, but its clear that Kawasaki is sticking to what works.

The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 300 has been introduced with no mechanical upgrades, retaining the same 296cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 38 bhp and 26.1 Nm of torque. The bike still lacks modern features like LED headlights, Bluetooth connectivity, and traction control. I believe this simplicity could appeal to those looking for a straightforward riding experience.

The BS6 compliant version of the Kawasaki Ninja 300 was launched in India, meeting the stringent emission norms without any notable mechanical changes. The price was hiked, but the bike retained its performance and features. I think this update was necessary to keep the model compliant with regulations.

India Kawasaki Motor has issued a recall for about 1,358 units of the Ninja 300 ABS models due to an issue with the front brakes. This recall highlights the importance of safety checks and maintenance. I think its commendable that Kawasaki is proactive about addressing such issues.

The 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 300 ABS was launched in India with a more affordable price tag of Rs 2.98 lakh (ex-showroom), featuring new graphics and paint options, and most importantly, the addition of ABS. This made the bike more appealing to safety-conscious buyers. I believe the inclusion of ABS was a significant improvement.
