The 2024 Honda CB200X has been launched in India, featuring a new assist and slipper clutch that makes the clutch lever easier to use, reducing hand fatigue in city traffic and preventing rear wheel lock during aggressive downshifting. The bike is powered by a 184.4cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 17bhp and 15.9Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox. It also includes all-LED lights, dual channel ABS, and a simple negative LCD display. I think this update makes the CB200X more appealing for both city commuting and weekend adventures.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the 2023 CB200X, which is OBD2 compliant and features an assist and slipper clutch. It comes with a steel diamond frame, USD front forks, and a preload adjustable monoshock at the rear. The CB200X is priced at Rs 1,46,999 ex-showroom, Delhi, and is available in three colors. I believe the addition of the assist and slipper clutch is a significant improvement for riders.

The Honda CB200X continues to be a popular choice in the 180-200cc motorcycle segment, with its design inspired by the Honda CB500X ADV. It features a sharp bodywork, new graphics, and an all-LED lighting system. The bike is equipped with a powerful 184.4cc engine, dual petal disc brakes with single-channel ABS, and a fully digital instrument panel. However, it lacks Bluetooth connectivity and navigation features. I think the lack of advanced tech features might be a drawback for some buyers.

Based on the Honda Hornet 2.0, the CB200X is designed for daily commutes and weekend explorations. It features a 184.4cc engine, a five-speed gearbox, and disc brakes on both wheels. The bike also includes an upright riding position and knuckle guards with integrated turn indicators. I believe the CB200X offers a great balance between city and adventure riding.

The Honda CB200X was initially compared to the Hero Xpulse 200 4V upon its launch, with both bikes competing in the same segment. While the CB200X excels in city riding and comfort, the Hero Xpulse 200 4V has better off-road capabilities. The CB200X is priced slightly higher but offers a more refined engine and better on-road performance. I think the choice between these bikes depends on the riders primary use.
