The Hero XF3R concept, although long in the making, promises to be a significant addition to the Indian motorcycle market. With its 300 cc engine producing 28 bhp of power and 35 Nm of torque, this bike is poised to deliver a robust performance. The design, featuring a single-sided swingarm, upside-down front forks, and a trellis frame, is both stylish and technologically advanced. The inclusion of ABS, fuel injection, and dual riding modes enhances its appeal. However, the delayed launch and the presence of other models like the Xtreme 200 and Xpulse 200 might affect its market positioning. Nonetheless, for those who have been waiting, the XF3Rs unique features and competitive pricing make it an attractive option.
Price
The Hero XF3R is expected to be priced competitively in the Indian market, with an ex-showroom price starting from around 1.60 lakh. However, the on-road price can vary depending on state-specific taxation policies, which could add several thousand rupees to the final cost. Despite these variations, the overall pricing is reasonable considering the advanced features and performance it offers. For potential buyers, this pricing makes the XF3R a viable choice in the 300 cc segment, offering a balance between cost and the value it provides.

Hero XF3R Concept Review

Quick Review by Maxabout Team

Hero's most performance packed offering, the XF3R Concept is also one of the most eye catching substance around the country. It carries a different approach than traditional Hero motorcycles and surprisingly, it also carries a bit of EBR in itself. The Hero's performance partner which has gone down due to excessive debt has also show their designing as well as performance skills on the present concept.

The first of its kind from Hero MotoCorp, XF3R comes with a true street fighter design. It gets a vertically stretched front fascia with blue LED DRL's and golden painted USD forks at the front. The thick forks are linked to a 5x2 style spider web alloy wheels, which has been painted black for the front and red for the rear. The clean ground clearance is further enhanced by a high mounted exhaust and a red under body surround panel.

Red ribs can be seen below the muscular and huge fuel tank covering of the XF3R Concept. The seats are split and a physical grab rail has been missed at the rear. The XF3R Concept gets a single screen fully digital instrument console with a tachometer display in the top section and speedometer in the center. The console rests on the top of the small windshield and the bike comes equipped with front as well as rear disc brake.

The engine has been said to be a 300cc unit with fuel injection and liquid cooling. The power figures of the bike have not yet been revealed. It is expected to get a production ready version by 2017 and would come with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike uses premium Pirelli Sport Demon tyres and optional ABS. XF3R is expected to launch with a price tag of around INR 1.75-2.00 lakh and it would use a mono-shock instead of traditional dual shock absorbers at the rear.
