The Hero Pleasure Self (old model) has reportedly been discontinued and has been removed removed from the company's official website. The fact that the business had already introduced the brand-new Pleasure Plus and upgraded the new scooter with BS6 compliance, it was unavoidable. On the other hand, the Hero Pleasure's most recent significant update came in 2017, when it received BS4 improvements.

Wednesday, 27 September 2023 11:32 AM The Hero Pleasure came with a 102cc air-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine that produced 7 PS of power at 7000 rpm and 8.1 Nm of torque at 5000 rpm. It also featured a mobile charging port, boot light, and an analogue instrument cluster with a side stand indicator. I think these features were quite convenient for daily commuters, especially given its affordable price point of around Rs. 45,600.
Wednesday, 27 September 2023 07:30 AM The scooter had a sleek and compact design, with a high rigidity underbone frame and clear lens turning indicators. It also included a front glove box and under-seat storage, making it practical for daily use. I believe the design was one of its strong points, offering a blend of style and functionality.
Wednesday, 01 April 2020 05:47 PM The Hero Pleasure has been officially discontinued in the Indian market as of April 2020. The scooter is no longer available at dealerships, and Hero MotoCorp has removed it from their official website. This decision was largely due to the introduction of the BS6-compliant Pleasure Plus, which offers better features and a larger engine. I believe this move was necessary to keep up with evolving market demands and emission standards.
Saturday, 18 March 2017 08:25 PM In its last major update in 2017, the Hero Pleasure received a BS4-compliant engine, Always Headlamp On (AHO), and new dual-tone body colors along with updated body graphics. The scooter also featured an Integrated Braking System (IBS) to enhance safety. I think these updates were a good attempt to keep the scooter relevant, but ultimately, it wasnt enough to compete with newer models.
Saturday, 18 March 2006 07:12 AM The Hero Pleasure was initially launched in 2006 and was primarily targeted at female buyers. It was known for its lightweight design, easy handling, and good fuel efficiency, making it a popular choice among women riders. However, over time, the market shifted towards 110cc scooters with better features, leading to a decline in Pleasures sales. I believe the Pleasure had a good run, but it was time for an upgrade.
