Hero MotoCorp has added some variety to its scooter lineup by introducing the Prime edition of the Destini 125 in India, which is more economical. The LX and VX versions of the Xtec model are each Rs 7,749 and Rs 14,239 more expensive than the Prime form, which has a price of Rs 71,499 instead. The Prime is distinct from the Xtec model due to its design and features—or lack thereof. The earlier model of the scooter, which has a simpler appearance, has been revived. As opposed to the Xtec's chrome-finished mirrors, grab rail with a back rest, and dual-tone seat, the bodywork of the new vehicle has a larger headlamp, body-colored mirrors, a single-piece grab rail, and a dual-tone seat.

Priced at Rs. 71,499, the Destini Prime boasts a 124.6cc engine, producing 9.09 PS and offering a mileage of 56 kmpl. This scooter is equipped with features like LED guide lamps, a boot lamp, and a mobile charging port. I believe this pricing and feature set make it a compelling option for budget-conscious buyers.

I think this focus on mileage will resonate well with Indian consumers who prioritize fuel economy.

I believe the Destini Prime has the potential to gain significant market share due to its balanced offering of price, features, and performance.
