Is the Pulsar N160 2 Channel ABS worthy of the Pulsar legacy?
30 January 2025 09:21
Absolutely! If the N160 is a modern evolution of the Pulsar, it feels like it. It has that same punchy feel, but with better refinement.
Is the Pulsar N160 2 Channel ABS suitable for long distance touring?
30 January 2025 09:21
I think it’s perfect for cruising along back roads and scenic routes. If you’re looking for something bigger for high speed highway touring, you might want to look elsewhere.
Is the Pulsar N160 2 Channel ABS reliable for daily commuting?
30 January 2025 09:21
So far, so good. I'm concerned about the long term reliability of the ABS system though. The multi channel version is more complex than the single channel version.
Is the Bajaj Pulsar N160 2 Channel ABS worth the additional price over the single channel version?
30 January 2025 09:21
I'd say go for it. When you think about the long term benefits though, the price difference isn’t that much. It’s also a nice feature to have should you ever want to sell the bike.
How does the Pulsar N160 2-Channel ABS fare, in terms of overall riding experience, when compared to its competitors?
30 January 2025 09:21
I would go with the N160 if it was pure riding pleasure. Which lacks some of the refinement present in a few of the other ones, but has a raw, sporty feel.
Can the Pulsar N160 tackle long distance touring?
30 January 2025 09:19
It's all about expectations I think. The N160 is a great budget touring guitar. It's efficient, it’s reliable, and it’s comfortable enough. It won't compete with the bigger bikes built for touring, but don't expect it to.
Is the Pulsar N160 the safest bike in its segment as Bajaj claims?
30 January 2025 09:19
I believe there is more marketing than reality to the N160's safety claim. It has good features, but safety isn’t the only factor. Build quality and long term reliability also play a role. These we need more time to judge.
In real world riding, how does the Pulsar N160’s engine compare to the NS160?
30 January 2025 09:19
I've been on both and the N160's engine is definitely more refined. At higher RPMs it is smoother and doesn’t vibrate as much as the NS160. Compared with the N160, the N160 is definitely more comfortable for daily commuting.
Is the Pulsar N160 a good starter bike for beginners?
30 January 2025 09:19
You all fail to remember the maintenance aspect. There are a lot of things I love about the N160, but one of the best is that it's a pretty reliable and easy to maintain bike (which is important for a beginner who might not know much about bike upkeep).
Is the Pulsar N160 all that it's cracked up to be?
30 January 2025 09:19
I honestly believe the hype is warranted. The Pulsar N160 isn't just another Pulsar, it's a complete overhaul. The older Pulsars had a rougher engine but this new one is buttery smooth and the power delivery is just right for city riding. Plus, the dual channel ABS on the higher variant is a game changer for safety in this segment.
Which is better Yamaha MT-15 V1 and Bajaj Pulsar N160?
19 September 2023 04:40

It would be unfair to give a verdict on the Yamaha MT-15 V1 as the vehicle has been discontinued. On the other hand, the Bajaj Pulsar N160 comes with a punchy yet refined engine. The riding posture and ergonomics of the vehicle are great. It is the only bike in its segment with Dual-channel ABS.
