Discussions and Questions Aftek Motors

What can we expect for the real world range of the Aftek Motors Eone in different Indian cities?
17 January 2025 07:45
I have had my Eone for a year in Chennai. It started out getting about 85 km per charge, now it's more like 75 km. Not a huge drop but definitely noticeable. Perhaps the humidity here plays a role.
How does Aftek Motors Eone perform in monsoon conditions?
17 January 2025 07:45
I took my Eone out on last monsoon and it stood up pretty well. The waterproofing is decent, but definitely I would not want to jump in deep puddles. It’s OK to use traction, but take it easy on slippery roads.
How much can you customize the Aftek Motors Eone?
17 January 2025 07:45
When it comes to customization, the Eone is pretty basic. The official accessories are a phone holder and a luggage rack, but nothing exciting. There are no aftermarket options.
What are the long term costs of Aftek Motors Eone compared to gas scooters?
17 January 2025 07:45
I’m going to say the math worked out in favor of the Eone for me, but it’s going to depend on your usage. The savings compound quicker if you’re doing long daily commutes. Maybe it doesn’t matter as much for occasional rides.
Is the hype about the Aftek Motors Eone justified?
17 January 2025 07:45
I honestly think the Eone is a solid entry level option but it’s not exactly revolutionary. It's decent for short commutes though, but don't expect to go anywhere on long trips. Quality of build is okay, but not special.
So how does the Aftek Motors Etwo compare to rental scooters?
17 January 2025 07:42
The Etwo blows rental scooters out of the water, no contest. It’s faster, more stable, and you don’t have to stalk one down each time you need a ride.
What are the best accessories for the Aftek Motors Etwo?
17 January 2025 07:42
For long rides, I’ve installed a suspension seat post, which has been a game changer in comfort. It’s highly recommended for bumpy city streets.
Is the Aftek Motors Etwo as hyped as it is?
17 January 2025 07:42
It depends, I think. The Etwo is just perfect if you need a lightweight and portable scooter for short trips. If you're commuting longer distances or need something a bit more rugged, however, you'll want to look elsewhere.
How does the Aftek Motors Etwo perform in wet weather?
17 January 2025 07:42
I’ve ridden my Etwo in light rain a few times and it works surprisingly well. They do have some good grip in the tires, but I’m still careful turning corners.
How far can you go in the real world with the Aftek Motors Etwo?
17 January 2025 07:42
It has a decent range, but it falls off a cliff if you're always riding in the fastest mode. I’ve started using the eco mode more often to get more battery life.
In the fast changing e-scooter market, how future proof is the Aftek Elmo?
17 January 2025 07:40
E-scooters are still very much a wild west, honestly. I would rather have something reliable like the Elmo now and then wait for the promised future tech which might never materialize.
What is the Aftek Elmo like in wet conditions?
17 January 2025 07:40
Elmo's water resistance is decently enough, but I do wipe the water off when I'm done with a wet ride. After a really rainy week there has been some rust on the screws but regular maintenance is key.
For longer trips, how does the Aftek Elmo stack up against gas powered scooters?
17 January 2025 07:40
It's a huge plus to frequent riders that the Elmo requires less maintenance. Oil changes and spark plug replacements are a thing of the past. The tires just need to be inflated, and you’re good to go.
What can I customize on the Aftek Elmo?
17 January 2025 07:40
So compared to more popular scooters, the aftermarket scene for the Elmo is still pretty limited. Hopefully it gains popularity and that changes. For the time being, you might have to get creative with universal fit accessories.
Is the Aftek Elmo all the hype for daily commuting?
17 January 2025 07:40
I think it's honestly overkill for the vast majority of people's needs. For half the money, you can get a decent e-scooter that'll work just fine for most commutes. The Elmo does appear to be more of an enthusiast product than one meant for practical daily use.
