The name of Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 stands for White Arrow and the design justified it with its fully White, single piece body panel running from the tank to the tail. It carries the same frame as KTM Duke series and uses major components like engine and brakes from KTM Duke 390. It would rival Duke 390 and BMW G310R in its segment. Vitpilen 401 is a cafe racer by design. It may get a price tag of around INR 2.50-2.75 lakh (ex-showroom).Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 was recently unveiled in its production version. The motorcycle comes with 692.7cc, single cylinder engine producing 73.75 HP and 72 Nm of torque. The engine is liquid cooled and fuel injected while gearbox on offer is a 6-speed manual with slipper clutch. Front brakes on the motorcycle are sourced from Brembo while suspension components are from WP. It carries a futuristic design with retro appeal from some of the signature Husqvarna elements. It comes loaded with alloy wheels, impressive tyre hugger and a fully digital instrument console in a circular housing.
