Our take on this /// Verdict
The Bajaj Pulsar 180 is a robust and reliable motorcycle that has stood the test of time. With its powerful 180cc engine, it offers strong performance, making it suitable for both city commutes and long rides. Users have praised its smooth handling, responsive brakes, and comfortable seating, even on extended journeys. However, there are some drawbacks, such as the need for better build quality and fit-and-finish, particularly with the welding and panel fittings. Additionally, some users have reported issues with the battery and service experience. Despite these, the Pulsar 180 remains a great value for money, offering a perfect balance of performance and comfort.
Price
In India, the Bajaj Pulsar 180 is priced competitively. The ex-showroom price typically ranges around 1.34 lakh, depending on the region and any ongoing offers. When you factor in the on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other charges, the price can go up to around 1.55 lakh to 1.65 lakh. This pricing makes the Pulsar 180 an attractive option for those seeking a powerful and feature-rich motorcycle without breaking the bank. The value for money is one of the key selling points, as it offers a lot of features and performance at a price that is hard to match by its competitors.

Bajaj Pulsar AS180 Review

11 Mar, 2015 06:46 AM

Quick Review by Maxabout Team

Bajaj has promised the customers for many surprises in this year and that has resulted in many expectations and assumptions. One of the assumptions resulted into the Pulsar 180 AS. With even no hint of its existence, the 180 AS is only a thought till date. If ever seen, it will feature the same adventure sport design that its elder 200 AS is seen with. With the touring DNA, it will share its engine with the current Pulsar 180. But it is also rumoured that a new engine with increased horsepower will be used, following the trend of the new 150 cc more powerful unit.

The same suspension would be used on the expected 180 AS as Bajaj has been using the same suspension on its all models of the same linings. Telescopic forks at the front and the monoshock rear suspension. Disc Brake on the front would be sure in case it arrives but the rear scenario clearly depends on the fact that what strategy Bajaj has made for the 180 cc category. Color options may vary with the trend of the launch time and most probably dual tone will be expected and a single variant will be launched.

Pricing will be the sole decision maker whether it will be feasible for a normal rider or it will disturb the sales of its own family members. Expected price will be around 90,000 INR.
