The Atlas Angel bilateral exercise concluded on a high note with a closing ceremony at SLAF Base Katunayake, attended by U.S. Ambassador Julie Chung and other high-ranking officials. The exercise highlighted the strength of the U.S.-Sri Lanka partnership and the strategic significance of joint military exercises. The ceremony also marked the announcement of the U.S. governments gift of a Beechcraft King Air 360ER to the Sri Lanka Air Force for future search and rescue operations. I believe this cooperation will significantly enhance regional stability and security.
