The Altius Scimitar boasts a modern design, distinguishing it from its predecessor, the HDT M1030-M2 LE 670. With a 14lt fuel tank, it offers a theoretical range of around 600km on diesel and a top speed of approximately 150km/h. This makes it an attractive option for long-distance riders. I believe the design and performance make it a compelling choice for those seeking a durable and efficient bike.

The Scimitars engine is designed to be lightweight and compact, ensuring smooth turnover not just in low- to mid-rpm ranges but also at high rpm. This engineering makes the bike suitable for both urban and off-road riding. The indirect injection (IDI) system in the 670cc engine adds to its efficiency.

Altius Automotive Technologies is planning to capitalize on the Scimitars multi-fuel capabilities to target both civilian and military markets in India. The bikes ability to run on various fuels, including diesel and aviation kerosene, is seen as a significant advantage. I think this could be a game-changer for motorcycles in India, especially given the countrys diverse fuel landscape.
