Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV Base Price Leaked

All eyes are on Maruti Suzuki as it gears up to join the mid-size SUV segment with the all-new Grand Vitara. Amid all things, the price of the upcoming car leaked through the website's source code. According to the source code, the SUV's ex-showroom pricing is Rs. 9.50 lakh, which is most likely the base model's price. However, this is not an official price, so we should wait for the 20th of July to officially launch the SUV and disclose all the details.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Expected Price

After being launched, the Grand Vitara will lock horns with the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Nissan Kicks, among other cars in the Indian car market. If we believe the leaked price, it seems like the forthcoming SUV’s base variant will be much more affordable than the Hyundai Creta’s, with a difference of around Rs 1 lakh. Maruti Suzuki has never released a mid-size SUV in the Indian market, making it easy for vehicles like the Creta and Seltos to dominate the segment.

In addition, the Grand Vitara will offer two significant benefits over the Creta, the inclusion of an all-wheel-drive system and the hybrid powertrain. On the other hand, the Hyundai Creta also has its own prominence since it comes with diesel and turbo petrol engine options. As per the previously revealed information about the soon-to-launch SUV, it will have a normal IC-only variant and a unique hybrid variant called the ‘Intelligent Electric Hybrid’.
