Toyota Taisor Set to Debut on April 3, 2024

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced the launch date for the Taisor, a new model based on the Maruti Fronx. The Taisor is set to make its debut on April 3, 2024, and will be the fourth product from the Maruti-Toyota alliance, following the Baleno-Glanza, Grand Vitara-Hyryder, and Hycross-Invicto pairs.

Design and Features

The Taisor will share a similar design silhouette with the Maruti Fronx but will have distinct features to set it apart. New alloy wheels, updated front and back bumpers, revamped LED headlights and taillights, and a new front grille are some of them. The interior is expected to closely resemble the Fronx, with possible variations in cabin theme and seat upholstery.

The Taisor will be equipped with a range of features, including a nine-inch smart touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charger, rear AC vents, cruise control, a heads-up display (HUD), and a 360-degree camera.

Powertrain Options

The Taisor is likely to be offered the same engine options as the Maruti Fronx. These include a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine that generates 99 horsepower and 148 Nm of torque, and a 1.2-liter normally aspirated petrol engine that produces 89 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. It is anticipated that both engines would come with an AMT gearbox, a six-speed torque converter, or a five-speed manual transmission.
