KTM RC 125 to Reportedly Launch in India This Month

When 125 Duke was introduced for India, it was surely predicted that KTM RC 125 will also make a debut in the Indian market. Now, Autocar India has confirmed that the fully faired supersport motorcycle will go on sale in the third week of this month, while the deliveries are expected to commence in the first week of July. The India specified model is expected to get slight changes in terms of design in comparison to the international-spec version of the 125cc sports bike. The RC 125 isn’t a new version of the RC range and this motorcycle has been on sale in select international markets from past few years. No one would have guessed though that KTM will fast forward the launch in the Indian market to June 2019. The upcoming bike will not feature the side exhaust to save the additional cost. However, the best part of the bike is the underbelly exhaust design which is already featured in the KTM RC 200. Mechanically, the RC 125 and 125 Duke are exactly similar. They are powered by a 124.7cc, single-cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled motor that produces 14.5 HP of maximum power with 12 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The RC 125 is also expected to feature the same suspension and brakes as its naked version, so it means that it will get a single-channel ABS unit instead of the dual-channel ABS unit from the RC 390. Coming to price, we can expect the RC 125 to be priced around INR 1.45 lakh to 1.50 lakh mark. The fully-faired and more powerful Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 costs INR 1.40 lakh, and it is the closest possible rival of upcoming RC 125 in this price range in India.

The KTM RC125 is not on sale in India. KTM offers just 4 bikes named RC 200, RC 390, 200 Duke and 390 Duke in India. The bikes are powered by 2 engines measuring 199.5 cc and 373.2 cc. Range starts from 200 Duke, retailing at INR 1,43,000 whereas ends at INR 2,14,000 for the RC 390. The bikes offer the best in class performance as well as weight figures. They can be bought in limited shades and RC series offers orange rims and frame on both the bikes whereas 200 Duke lacks the orange touch on it under body. You can go for RC 200 as it comes with a price tag of INR 1,69,000.
What is the price of KTM RC 125 in India?
2022-12-29 06:00:19 AM
KTM RC125 has no launch plans for the country as KTM will not be able to price the bike properly due to 95 percent part sharing with the elder cousins from the RC family. The RC200 is priced around INR 1,69,000 whereas it’s INR 2,14,000 for the RC390. The INR 45,000 gap between the both is justified by bigger engine, premium tyres, dual channel ABS and a slipper clutch. On the other hand, by providing no such difference, KTM cannot price the bike with another INR 45,000 drop and even if done, the INR 1,24,000 price tag would not justify the 125 cc character of the bike.

What is the actual price of KTM RC 125 in Kalyan?
2022-12-29 05:59:11 AM
KTM RC125 is currently not available in India and the most possible alternate for the same in the country is RC200. The RC series currently sells RC200 and RC390 in the Indian market. RC125 has more chances of launch then all the other 125cc performance motorcycles like Yamaha R125 and Honda CBR125R. The reason behind the same is that KTM do not offer any 150cc motorcycle, which would alter the pricing affair of the 125cc offering whereas other two have a 150cc cousin at an affordable price. Pricing the RC125 around INR 1,25,000 would make the KTM supersport feel more closer than the current generation RC200 priced at INR 1,69,000. The RC125 comes with a 124.7 cc engine producing 14.8 BHP and 12 NM of torque.
