Can we fit the Yamaha YZF-R1 head light in Yamaha R15 version 2?

It is not possible to fit the Yamaha R1 headlight on the R15. It can actually be tried at a modification shop but would not be a good option as the size of the chassis, nut-bolt positions and all the stuff is different in both the bikes. You can easily get your R15 custom wrapped with your favorite shade and make it look outstanding out of the regular ones. R15 retails for INR 1,15,241 for the single long seat version (R15-S) and INR 1,18,373 for the version 2.0.
Will Yamaha R15S receive new shades in the future?

Yamaha R15-S currently offers 3 shades namely Adrenalin Red, Track White and Spark Green. All of them are priced at INR 1,15,241 and use a single, long seat for comfortable pillion ride. It is powered by the same 149 cc engine producing 17 PS and 15 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. There are no chances for the introduction of new shades to the R15-S in the coming months but Yamaha may offer them around the festive season.

You can buy the 2012 R15 version 2.0 for INR 70,000-75,000. Yamaha bikes still do not have a good resale value in India but they are one of the best performers of every category of motorcycle worldwide. The R15 comes with liquid cooling and you can check whether the bike was well maintained from its service records as engines of performance bikes are under more strain everytime than normal commuter bikes. They require more care and a single mistake in the oil or coolant level can seize the engine.

You will not experience anything if you are fit and ride short distances only but if you have some sort of back pain, it can make it worse, specially on long rides. You cannot sit upright, thus making all of the weight fall on your wrist and bending your back would be compulsory. This can be annoying on long rides and feels good when riding on closed circuit for a short span.

The bikes are based on the same architecture and uses the same components all over their bodies. The motorcycle would become a bless for the pillion if it can be swapped with the older version's rear end.

The Yamaha R125 is not going to launch in India for the following reasons:
(i) There won't be enough buyers. Not many people will be interested in buying a Yamaha R125 when a Pulsar 220F is available at a same or a lesser price.
(ii) Globally, the 125cc bikes are learner motorcycles. You don't need a licence to ride them. However, in India you need a licence to even ride a 100cc motorcycle.
(iii) Premium 125cc bikes might cause product cannibalism.

Both bikes have their pros and cons, but the KTM duke 200 is a better choice. Here's why.
1) High-power 200cc engine: 25bhp and 20 Nm torque. Revs to 10000 rpm, and sounds like a two-stroker. Also has enough low-end torque to be able to cruise at 35kmph in 6th gear.
2) It has a short-ratio gearbox which allows the bike to accelerate to 100 KMPH in just 10 seconds.
